BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: Folder Issues
« on: October 18, 2014, 10:01:39 am »
The Legacy Content actually stores the trains routes and sounds. When I use openbve the legacy folder comes up first but I just click back to the regular one since most of my routes and trains are there. It runs the same so I guess it's like a back up directory in case something happens to the original folder files or something. Might just be a glitch too.

RFW on an R62 along my fictional 3rd Ave IRT 9 Local route. Updated to 125th St.

The IRT 3rd and 5th Ave Lines are now underway. I have extended the 3rd Ave Line trains a bit to share tracks with one of the 5th Ave
trains. The lines are as follows.

3rd Ave Line:

12 from Kings Plaza to Bay Plaza- Bartow Ave. (Parkchester during afternoon and PM Rush Hour Bronx local service)
8 from Utica Ave to Fordham Plaza. (Late Nights from Alexander Ave Bronx to Fordham Plaza. Weekends from Gateway Center Bklyn)
9 from John Street- South Street Seaport to 174th Street- Highbridge Park.

5th Ave Line:

11 from Gateway Drive- Gateway Center to Woodlawn Jerome Ave.
10 from Division Street (Manhattan) to White Plains Rd- Bruckner Blvd Shopping Center. (Transfer to 12 trains at this station)

A comprehensive preview video of the R44 for openBVE:
Sounds like an R32/38 from the motor and run sounds. Break air release is close to the real thing. I remember most of the R44s had this weird sounding release at the last break notch

No need for that. The beta version for the 2 and 1  7th Ave Line is up on You can download that beta version there. The IRT lines are being worked on now and will hopefully be downloadable soon

A thought came to mind that kinda formed this question. With the (L) line being developed, which version is being created? Is it the updated (L) where Atlantic Ave is now used as a single island platform or the old (L) with the the now abandoned Manhattan bound platform?

Only thing that bothers me is that it isn't an 11 car train

Started coding a fictional 3rd ave line with express and local trains

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: D Train Announcements problem
« on: July 10, 2014, 11:18:59 pm »
The announcements dont seem to be working for me on the D line. Im running the R68 and R160 and both dont have announcements. I tried the NTT and SMEE routes and they both have the same problem. Im using OpenBVE

Other routes like the F work fine.

I'd aprreciate some help please. Thank you very much. Otherwise the route runs beautifully.

You just have to move the D1 and D7 sound folders into the 6ave sound folder. Should here announcements after that

The speed limit is coded into the route and isn't changed at certain points so if u operate fast you'll end up catching up to the A.I. train in the underwater tube

At WTC there's a staircase at the end of the platform not that room. the room is actually behind the stairs but via track acceess

You may/may not want to turn down the volume
openBVE: R46 Express run in Thunderstorm

I tried the code to make the rain possible but it didn't work. What did you do to get it to work?

This train is coming together nicely. Looks like you just need to fix the headlights

They probably got the idea from running the updated F on OpenBVE. Would be kinda of funny if that was the case
