Graffiti is considered to some as an art, but growing up I never liked it and I will not endorse it. It may look good on the trains, but for the ones that had to live through it, sit in it, ride it to work, etc. it was not a happy time.

I saw the videos on YouTube of the graffiti laced trains and I must admit, we have it a lot better now, with the newer stainless steel SMEEs and NTTs. If you want to keep it on the train then that's your choice. It's considered vandalism, but it was also a focal part of our past.

Anyway, the R30 exterior could use some work, but since it just started i'll spread my best wishes.

well these previews were taken of an early version of the exterior that i sent to Dtrain . i have updated the exterior and with the help of andy we implemented rollsigns . as for the graffiti scheme i wanted to do that to give it a more retro feel as we got a couple of routes coming out taking place int the 70s/80s .im also saving that for last as i want to work on the redbird and olive schemes of the train first .
i will post some updated pics of the exterior and panel soon.

Great work JayJay n i Love the route ! I have an idea.... since you dont want to make the train run from Coney island and you  want to run it from ave x , how about you start it like rush hour service from Coney island yard and make it run via a switch to ave X . i think this will add a little more realism then just starting it at ave x  .  Heres a diagram :

Breaking into the yard at night wouldn't explain the daylight in the panel.

Great job so far. Let me know how the panel is progressing so that I can coordinate it with the exterior/interior view.

ive programed the panel into the train but it seems that the window is a bit too narrow so im going to expand the panel a bit so its not as congested. also the Pressure gauge is being a bitch to make as the few pics i took of it are a bit too dark and you cant make out the numbers . other then that the panel is making good progress

IDK if you guys know this but uh graffiti supposedly is banned...

I really like the clean version though it's looking real nice. Keep the updates coming

well there is no Profanity or gang signs or whatever on the grafiti and just show some tags and Mets Vs Yankees. im also currently editing the exterior to give it more life and a new curved roof . Btw im also almost done with animating the cab so we should be able to post a beta up soon .

I'm very sorry everyone.  No matter what, I must finish what I started on and not give up.  Whether its hand-drawn or photo-realistic, everybody here have their own impressive creations.

Disregard my response from earlier. (And Mr. RailFan, please do create the R46 as you planned).  I also apologize for bringing this thread off topic.  The R44 thread will get started soon.

Back on topic : OMG the rain effect is fucking jaw droping !!!. i also love the darkening in the tunnel which adds more realism . excellent job and i wish more routes are like this!

Okay, my R44 project will be cancelled.  No further notice.  Let the serious developers run NYCTBA with quality camera shots of a real cab.  I'm just the backbone, hardly spoken about and spent lots of time in MS Paint and Paint Shop Pro to draw replica cabs.  I'm getting old and I think it's time to let the new generation handle BVE.  It doesn't make sense to release an R40 slant remake and an R44 cab view and moments later, someone releases a much updated project to fit the future routes.  Good luck people, and Mr. RailFan, keep up the great work.

WHOAAA! It's seems too me that you're looking at other train developers work and like losing it.Don't stop your project even though it wasn't a cab pic it is still the best thing we had since TLjr. took down his R-44.It's like people are kicking you out of your job while your still kicking your ass getting the job done.Your trains are fine to me b\c it's better than nothing.But please keep developing good trains.
