Nice! Finally, a realistic R68    Will you also make a 2-car version for the new Franklin Avenue Shuttle that is in development?

Once again im not developing the Actual train Exterior/Interior , im still deciding on which developer to give the Cab too so they can apply/create an exterior/interior to it. But i will make sure that the final product release will have Multiple car assignments like a 2 car for shuttles , 4 car for the G train and a 8 car for regular routes.

Ok great, but considering that fact, will the different consists have the respective rollsigns/destination boards? Like, for example, the 2-car shuttles will have a grey (S) on the rollsign, the 4-cars will have a green (G), and the 8-cars have a selection of (D), (B), (N), etc.

well i was thinking of just putting in animated rollsigns so you can just scroll through the destinations and routes like coneyislandDFNQ said.

Ladies and Gentleman i would like to show you one of my newest Cab/Panel projects that im currently working on :



As you can see its far from done , but i just wanted to show you guys a preview of what ive Completed so far. Also please note that im NOT Developing the entire R68/ R68a , im just creating this so the existing R68 can be updated or this will be given to a proper developer who's currently working on the R68. I will post more updates in this thread relating to this panel soon.

Now because im in a good mood i want to give you guys some more preview pics of the cab in action  .

One more update pic showing the majority of the cab .....

I really like that cab/panel, it looks very good  But just one thing: that Controller doesn't look right at all, it looks like the R68 controller instead of the R62 controller. But apart from that, its really good, can't wait for release 

What do you mean it doesn't look right? this is how the cab is in real life . I took the pictures of the cab and put them together and that is how the controller and the rest of the r62 cab looks like . Also for future references the R62, R62a and the R68/a all use the same controller type.

There will be a public beta release, sometime in june .

The BETA will have a :
-Olive/green scheme [Still working on it]
-Red/Black Scheme [Beta Exterior Finnished]
-MTA Blue/Silver Scheme [Beta Exterior Finnished]
-MTA Work Train [Yellow/Black Scheme] - [Still working on it]

There was going to be a 1970s/80s Grafiti scheme but the i have decided to scrap and cancel this scheme due to controversy .

The Public BETA will Feature:
-Beta Exterior [Will be improved upon and will have an interior in Future updates for the train]
-Animated Rollsigns [Theses will vary for what scheme your using]
-Photo realistic cab
-Improved sounds and realistic Physics [Ive been spending some time on these]
-some other stuff im not going to mention now ...


Expect the PUBLIC BETA to be released in June

The panels you have for your trains are great! Though you should have a panel for the R46. I think that Error needs one for it.

Ive tried countless times to get into a 46 cab to take photos but the damn TO's are just a bunch of dicks on the A and wont let me take pics of the cab when i ask .

Also the cab hasnt been positioned properly so it will be updated .

Yeah just a small word of advice the number of the train is not an R160 thats an R143 but its a nice panel though. . .

yup just noticed . i originally created an r143 panel and then tweaked it to become a r160. Dont worry ima take care of that in the final version

Although Im not officially working on any New tech ,Including the R160 ,[i have my hands full already ], I just wanted to show you guys something ive been working on for a while now . Although its not fully finished , i wanted to give you guys a preview to what you might see in the next update for the R160 :

I also have a r143 Deviation of this panel so i should upload that in a little while .

Hope you enjoy this little preview

Also keep in Mind this is the first public preview of the cab and its in no way finished .

I've been thinking about some stuff. Why don't we start making bus routes and buses for openbve? Once y'all done with the subway of course. As I'm nearing the end of all my (2) Projects, I'll be glad to.

Like error said it would be mpractical to do with BVE as it is a train simulation not bus simulation. what you can do is create a trolley route since most of todays bus routes follow old trolley routes .
