Station Talk / Favorite Station and Why?
« on: December 09, 2012, 12:31:17 pm »
My absolute favorite station in the system is the recently renovated Coney Island Terminal because of the obvious historic purposes and it was my favorite destination despite all the issues surrounding the area in the 80s and 90s. This station was truly made ahead of its time in the early 20th century.

I swear guys, keep doing your thing! I hope this will be available when the fictional routes are completed.

That seldom happens though.  In the R32,38,40,42s the lights would go out more often than it happened in a R46.

Transit / Re: Hurricane Sandy Update Thread

First off, lets give a speedy recovery to the families that were devastated by the storm. Then give a shout out the workers of MTA to have the greatest rapid transit system on this planet up and running smoothly very soon because after all, it is the people that make the experience worthwhile.

Ah! The (D), the second most recognized line in the system. No matter how it gets to Coney Island whether its via 4th and the West End line, the Culver line, (the (D) original route through Brooklyn to Coney Island), or the Brighton Line; etiher way it is one of the finest runs in the city period!

Like I said in an earlier post, this model is the grandad of all 75 foot cars. What a wonderful tribute!

It has been a great run for the R42 but I hope for the R211 they are seventy-five foot cars instead of sixty foot cars. I think we have enough sixty foot cars to last us until at least 2052!!
