I need help with the N and Q line sounds. Like I put them in the Sound Folder, yeah but when I run it, the sound still doesn't come out. What's wrong?
-
Are you using the latest version of OpenBVE? The sounds use a .Flac sound format and older versions of OpenBVE don't run it.
Also make sure your directory looks like this:
[Openbve folder] > [Railway] > [Sound] > [Broadway]
Broadway would be the sound folder which contains all the subfolders with N/Q train announcements.

I have the latest version of OpenBVE, which is version 1.4.3, and i did put them correctly but it still doesn't work. What's wrong?
-
Try to install VLC Media Player and then run openBVE again. It could be a codec problem that is preventing .flac files from playing. Just install it and try openBVE. You don't need to do anything with VLC

I think , but I'm not sure, that the files are like mixed up. Some like arrivals and departures are missing. And i downloaded it a few days ago.

no, it is not that. I just checked myself and the route file itself is looking for the sounds in this directory:
Broadway\Q57\Ditmars_dep.flac;
That means you have to change your sound directory name to be as such:
Railway< Route
Sound < 6ave
8ave
A2
Broadway < W1

Q58
Q57
Q56
Q55
