4 via Pelham line

Used to happen a lot in the early 90s when I lived in Pelham. We would Sometimes get a 5 train as well. What would happen, they would send the Visiting train express downtown so they can meet up on their reg route. I miss seeing those re routes.

Along the entire (Q) line south of Prospect Park, the speed limit is 45 KM/H...

Has anyone done this long as s route?? I just did, R160 Alstom, got 48 sec early, hauling ass i dont deny, liked the sounds. But, I got this odd post and a Speed restriction saying end of signal control speed 30 mph, so i slowed down drastically, but kept getting these far apart signals... No biggie. When i got to this stop after tottenville bridge, Maple Ave, in the Exp track, i saw that i had to stop as if it was a reg stop. I did, jumping back cause i was doing 27 mph when i noticed, and was wondering if that was a Error, or was that planned, cause the doors opened, and countdown went, but no platforms!

Thanks

Transit / Re: Suggestions for the MTA for NYC Subway lines
« on: January 12, 2013, 07:23:09 pm »
NOTE: Not all of these may be possible

(1) Nothing
(2):Nothing
(3):Extend it from 148St-Lenox Terminal to the West side, maybe provide a transfer to the (A)(B)(C)(D) at 145st and the (1) at 145st
(4):Nothing
(5):Nothing
(6):Extend it a little farther than Brooklyn Bridge, Maybe to South ferry to provide extra service
(7):Already being extended by the MTA
(9):Bring back the 9 to releave congestion on the (1) north of 96st or beef up (1) Train service
(A):Stop going to lefferts and Beach116st and only go to Far rockaway
(B):Have the (B) local in all boroughs, no express in brooklyn
(C):Extend the C to lefferts blvd
(D):Create an extra track in the bronx so the (D) can run express in all boroughs
(E):Have the (E) go from 7av-53st-59st and then curve down instead of going to 50st
(F):Nothing
(G):Nothing
(H):Have the H go from broad channel to beach 116st instead of the (S) shuttle
(J):Nothing
(K):Nothing unless you want extra local service on the 8th Avenue line
(L):Have a station the connects with the (3) were they cross
(M):Have the M go from forrest hills to second ave like the (V) and create a mrytle avenue shuttle
(N):Nothing
(Q):Have the (Q) go express in brooklyn like the good old days of the <Q>
(R):Nothing
(S)-Shuttle: Have a arching bronx shuttle from VanCortland Park-(1) to Woodlawn(4) then to Noorwood205st(B)(D)
(T):Finish that Sh*t already MTA!
(Z):Get rid of the (Z) save some money, its useless

What do you guys think?

3, seems like a good idea.
6, Used to run to South Ferry Loop. The most I could say would seem like interesting Idea, Extend the 6 to NJ, but not going to happen.
9, pointless. Beef up 1 train
A, stay the same. C won't be able to handle it.
B, Mehhh
C, leave alone as it is.
D, Doesnt the D already have 3 tracks?
E, leave it as it is
F, Make an express again.
G, Poor thing.
H, use the Round Robin tracks and keep that as shuttle for A line.
M, Come back as brown M
N, nothing.
Q, Like it was in the late 80's early 90's
R, Nothing
S I agree, but use it as #8,
T, I agree, hurry up.
Z, leave it alone.

I would add a route, IRT from Bronx directly to Brooklyn, not go through Manhattan and end, maybe somewhere close to Borough Hall. Create a Similar U ( fictional BVE route), A route to La Guardia, And something maybe into like Perth Amboy, or Journal Square.

Ah ok, although i tried the Tube Line ( dont know which one, erased it) and it worked just fine, and it said BVE4. I'll download it just to have it for boredom entertainment when on farm house ( this laptop is a bit slow for it)

thanks for the help!

Having a car accident is one of the worse things that can happen to someone. I hope you feel better soon, and don't end up having later effects like when I had mine. I still have hip problems ( 2 years now after having my 96 Suzuki Sidekick rear ended by a 2008 Silverado) Hope you get better soon!

There are quite a few good Japanese routes here;
http://kashiwa21.sakura.ne.jp/bve2/index_e.htm

Some good routes are the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Hanzomon Line and the Tozai Line (BVE5). Assume you run BVE4 when downloading, except with the Tozai Line, which looks the most beautiful in BVE5. (mostly because of detailed AI traffic).

Trains have a special safety system, which is explained on this English-language page (scroll a bit down, it explains the Ginza line trains but the information is also relevant on all other Tokyo Metro trains).

Im running OpenBve
