Good to know that it's not just me who is having this issue.  I just downloaded BVE4 and I will soon try OpenBVE.  Thanks!

BVE/OpenBVE Support / F Route for BVE2
« on: October 02, 2011, 06:12:33 pm »
Hi all,
I wanted to get some advice on how I can successfully run the F route on BVE2.  I got what you need in order to run it, but whenever I try to load it, an error message will pop up or the program will just close.  Maybe it's my computer?  I don't know.  Anyone have the same issue or have any advice on how to properly run this route in BVE2?
Thanks!

Hi there, I was curious on how to put an image as a signature on BVE Forums.  I looked in the settings, and there is no area to upload an image for the signature.
Anyone know how to do this?  Thanks!

General BVE/OpenBVE / Octavia Object Park Download
« on: September 24, 2011, 12:14:30 pm »
Hi there,
I recently downloaded the F Line for BVE 2 and it says that I need the Octavia Object Park to run it correctly.  On the page for the route on this website, it shows that you can download Octavia Object Park, but it comes in a 7zip format file.  How do I make this work?  Do you drag it into the route folder?  Anyone know?  Thanks!

According to the route file, the official train folder is "r32_8"
You might want to rename the train folder to that and see if it works.

I tried that, and sadly it doesn't work.  I don't know how I can get the game to load using the C route now.  When I used OpenBVE, it worked fine using the R32's but it won't work in BVE2 for some odd reason.

Now it works!  I tried what you suggested.  I thought it didn't work when I first tried it, but it turns out that I typed in the wrong thing when I tried to rename the file.  Now I typed in the correct thing, and it works!  Sorry for that confusion!

Thanks!!!

Station Talk / BVE2 Help
« on: September 07, 2011, 11:55:14 am »
Hello all,

I recently installed BVE 2.6.3.  It is absolutely wonderful.  I have been running many different NYC Subway routes on it, but I noticed one thing.  For some strange reason, I cannot run the C Line.  I have the route downloaded, but apparently I do not have the correct train for it.  I downloaded the R32's (thinking that the route would run with those cars) and when I click on the route, it says that I do not have the train.  Maybe I did not download the correct cars.  Does anyone know which cars can be used to run the C Line on BVE2 or what I can do to solve my problem?  Thanks much!

Station Talk / OpenBVE Camera
« on: September 03, 2011, 07:07:13 pm »
Hello all,

I recently discovered OpenBVE, and it is a wonderful program!  There was one problem that I ran into on the game though:  camera views.  Everything else works fine but the cameras.  The cabview is great, but my only concern is "F3" and "F4".  When I hit either of these, it does not follow along with the train.  When I try to get a trackside view, it only shows the beginning of the route, and does not follow along with the train.  Anyone know how to solve this problem, or has anyone had the same problem?  Thanks!
