I actually posted that picture. It was actually what they were supposed to do to the R68. This was an early test of the flipdot technology. It was in no way going to the R46. It already got the LCD tech. The R143/160s got LED.

Wow I never knew about that one. Seems like the R44 had some really big plans. I bet they must had thought of that from the R32 Overhaul. Glad they cancelled it though, I don't like the way it looks.
