Great job!

Some minor visual errors, but nothing too big.

- Train goes through roof after Fordham crossover
- Floating car markers on some station (Bx Zoo is one of them)
- Some X switches didn't look too nice. The one on the el after 205th I think. - the switch looks invisible

Optional things that you could look into:
- Tjay tunnels and tracks for a high poly version would be nice!
- Weather or Time randomization
- OPTO/4 (after all the (Y) trains in the route are 4 cars long))

It's a fun route and I'm really digging the animated trains! If you strove for an IND feel, you def nailed it! This should be a benchmark for all fictional and real routes alike!

More Additions to the (Y) Line Available
« Reply #31 on: October 10, 2011, 06:15:49 pm »
There are now more additions to the download list. The fictional (W) and <W> lines have been released along with an updated version of the fictional (Z).

With the (W) and <W> lines, basically it's an updated version of the first (Y) that was on the Trevor Day site, but now has a Local & Express component to it.

The (Z) has the updated tunnels, signals and sounds. Other than that, there are no other changes.

The (Y) and (W) via (Y) has the new tunnels from the NYCT Object Pack placed back on the routes.

Please note, these routes were tested by me and 4 other people all day today and all 4 people had NO errors nor missing objects. Make sure you have the (V) line, the NYCT Object and NYCT Signal Pack from BVEStation (that's primarily the reason why people were missing the tunnels). There should NOT be any missing objects nor errors IF you placed all of the files into the correct paths.

Oh and thanks everyone for the comments and responses.

openBVE only since it uses new signals.

Great job on the release! Make no mistake, this is one of the THE BEST Metropolitan area American route in BVE history!

Things to look into:

- Tjay tracks (would accompany the tunnels just fine) (AKA High poly edition)
- Reversed route - The (W) is one of the best frt routes and it would be a shame to not do its reversal
- Express static trains
- R160 static trains
- Block signalling (2 Reds instead of 1 - idea stems from R36's suggestion for the (D))
- More paralleled system structure (don't know if this is intention or not, but the nb pillars and the sb pillars are different - could be unique to these series of routes)
- Misc. sounds. (Like authentic train passing sounds)

And I'm really digging the announcements lol. The old (Y) conductor and the (W) conductors are really unique to these routes.

I'm having a problem where when my train is cruising on some tracks, it makes no sound?  I'm not talking about the motor sound, more like the crackling sound.

The run sounds are not coded in for that

Those sections use Run4.wav, and not all trains have that

Running the W express route. Nice graphics, and I like how there's not roof this time, so you can see the train from the outside when the in the tunnels.

One word of advice though: don't EVER try to impersonate a female conductor's voice with a male voice. It sounds ATROCIOUS. Bleh, hurts my ears.

Other than that, great graphics and nice job developing.

That's his real voice bird brain. No impersonation and I could hear him very clearly.

This route is high detailed and I had no errors. Static train newest coding is phenomenal. This route will be used in the Motorman Institute. This could be a good example for us developers to use on our routes to make it realistic

That ain't no impersonation. This is actually his little brother (trust me I heard him many times) doing these announcements and he still has the accent.

Anyway the line is awesome. I showed this to the members of Jamaica Yard and are impressed as hell with the way OpenBVE is. Nice work cuz.
