If I understand you correctly, and I apologize if I'm not but, are you asking if (M) trains come out of Jamaica Yard? If so, the answer is no. In the evening and overnight hours, some cars used on the (M) line are laid up on the express tracks east of Forest Hills-71 Av, but those cars are stored and maintained at the East New York yard in Brooklyn, not Jamaica.

No, there are 50 or so cars still in service on the (J) and (Z) lines.

I agree. Something really needs to be done about this.

Thinking about it would make sense to copy the (F) file from anywhere past 36th to 179th everything is perfectly setup for a (E) rush hr service to 179th after the original mainline is done.

Especially since JayJay's (F) runs express east of Continental, the correct route the rush hour (E) takes. It'd be a cinch to just change the distances somewhere on Queens Blvd for the correct placement of the objects.

Kid. Shut up. You're becoming a real PITA with your constant pestering and annoying questions. If there was any progress, he would've posted it. Until then, stop asking the same questions ad nauseum.

The M7 is no longer available for public download.

If I may make a suggestion, don't do a public BETA test as the mods are trying to phase out of that. If you need a second opinion, ask members who you know will give good feedback to BETA test. Again, it's just a suggestion.

When there's an actual car to base the BVE creation on of course ::)

Yeah, I know that. I was just saying that when 34th & 11th first opens, there will probably be a mixed fleet on Flushing until all the new cars arrive.

The (7) extension to 34 St-11 Av is supposed to be completed in 2013, while the R142A conversion and R188 new car order will finish in 2015. That means that when the new station opens, the line's fleet should be split between the R62As and R142A/R188 cars.

For whatever reason, that portion of the post hasn't been updated. Regardless, do not take any dates posted on the first page as hard deadlines. You'll only be disappointed.

The Port Authority built the JFK AirTrain, not the MTA. Building it with a track connection to the Rockaways line would mean lost income for the PA by way of fares. Sure, you could reinstate some sort of double fare-style charging with turnstiles or HEETs that you would have to swipe your MetroCard upon exiting at the JFK Terminals so the PA gets their share of the profits, but how would you get that fare on reverse trips? You'd have to do the same at literally every station, which could get quite expensive.

Guys, it's an entirely different route that just happens to have the designation of (K). Besides the 8th Avenue routing between around 50 St and the World Trade Center, it's all uncharted territory.

That's a minor coding issue. As long as the route file pulls up the correct announcement file, there's nothing to worry about. If there's something wrong with the route where the announcement doesn't play, all you need to do is either change the name of the announcement file or change the name in the route file. Regardless, there isn't a need for someone to get the recordings well before the route is under development.

That's just my opinion though.
