Good Morning,
I just downloaded the OpenBVE Multiplayer Extension Codenamed Newtown v0.32d Public Preview Download (Updated 2/26/11), and everytime i click on connect, i get a error message that says " Error connecting to server. Server may be offline or
experiencing problems. And then OpenBve closes automatically. I was just wondering if there was or has been any problems lately??

As of right now, the multiplayer extension is not supported and the server has been taken down. There is no multiplayer functionality right now.
-
By any chance know if this project is officially dead? Or just under some kind of hibernation? Thanks!
-
It is dead until somebody else decides to pick it up again.
-
There are not enough users supporting the M.I. and also servers are unable to handle it. When more users pick up and start attending MI maybe ipac will start it up. Until then the Multiplayer Extension will stay down

I had my old client I did up. Unfortunately the souce coode went with my old cpu. I am hoping to restart development. Just hang tight.

I asked because im in puerto rico and was wanting to play online with a friend of mine back home in NYC... :(

Ahh I see. I really hope it gets picked up. I will hang on tightly indeed hehe. I would be super grateful and jolly!!! And yes, I am there with you metro. Same here. :(

Just to let users know. If something has low support, chances are its going to go down. Remember the owner isnt doing this for free. If you wanna help there is a donate button always in your face. Cant expect something to be there with out funding. Supporting the MI is the first major step cause you learn so much about Motormen/women operating procedures, signal functions and etc.., some of us just come on to download route and trains. Maybe digging deeper you can learn something new other than "YOOOOOO I JUST GOT THE Q ROUTE ON MY CPU!!!" lol
