It was inaccurate based on door size and position and me and ATheExpress wanted to make the exteriors for the R142 and R142A somewhat match with accuracy and appearance to their real exteriors so both trains exteriors had to change.

R142 the donated version

I donated, however, I received the R142a but not the R142. Was I supposed to receive the R142?

No the R142A was the only one released to the donators, both I believe will be in the final release at the end of the month.

Correction the R142 has no released date and yes, it was not apart of the donation release. Donors were only given the R142A as a thank you which was a decision made by ATheExpress. The donations weren't for me so the R142 wasn't included.

I have removed the excess posts and have come up with a solution in one post. As before, do not derail the topic, especially with hearsay.

The original developer had a last minute change to the project, and long story short, the change was sufficient enough to cause delays. Release dates are great, but unscheduled changes to the scope of the work can happen at any moment, much like MTA Capital Construction.  For those who paid for the BETA and were given one, those versions are yours to KEEP, and NOT distribute against the developer's wishes, as always. The developer of the R142A will complete the project and have it uploaded to the site in due time, but I ask all to be patient, and retain etiquette and respect for developers on the forum.

No it isn't. The version that is there is an outdated leaked version.

Well seems like OpenBVE connection has been modified and some downloads got deleted, I'm luck that I downloaded some trains and routes in time, but let's forget about that and stick to the topic.
