Switch Work coming along. Now I understand why the MTA uses weekends to do work, as there is less train traffic on the rails lol. The third set of switches (Rockaway/Lefferts bound track) will be coded after the middle set is done

I know I am a little late to the party here, but you (@Ztraintobroad) say you are going to announce something big, right?
Here is the thing (actually a few really):
1. We all knew you were working on the 7, that is not news lol.
2. If you say you are going to announce something big on BVEStation, but post all the pics on Facebook, specifically UTMS (short for United Transportation Modeling, Simulation, & Development, for those who do not use Facebook here), how is that something big? Even with all of those pics that you posted, you could have placed them here.
3. This is your thread since you created it, right? Go wild with the pics here also lol. You probably forgot that you blocked some people on Facebook, so they can't view them in the group. This is most likely the reason why @WizDaGamer is asking for pics.
4. You can tell people whatever they want. PICTURES make a world of a difference when describing progress. Sure drop percentages and all, but some people prefer screenshots. I'm not saying you are supposed to please others, but if you want people to believe what you are doing (I am assuming some have their doubts), screenshots don't hurt. Show the horrible aspects of route coding and the good parts too. Keeping everything under wraps just makes people suspicious.

You hyped up some folks on here for some screenshots of a route that could be announced with regular post. Yes, it is your thread, and you can do whatever you want, but what you did is called a bait and switch. Plain and simple. "Something big" usually means that a route/train is being released, a route\train is nearly available for release with some errors that are being ironed out, or extremely significant changes. Now you might think this is a post to come down hard on you or because I dislike you, go ahead. Think whatever you want lol. I see it as constructive criticism to help you become a better person.

Congrats on your progress with the 7. It looks like you know what you are doing with the route and the train.

Are you approaching the signal slowly? The Gap filler signal acts as a timer. You have to approach the gap filler signal slowly (below 5 mph) for it to clear.

Finished coding for the elevated curves in the route up to 80th Street, platform and track wise. Rockaway Blvd and 104th Street have all their proper curves, from the rails to the platforms to the windscreens. Eventually, I will need to go back and update the canopy, as it is still the old one from the old A. Time to finish the mayhem of Rockaway Blvd switches......

Station Talk / Re: J/Z routes missing daylight???

Although it doesn't say so, it should say in the dependencies that the Culver folder is required. The background pic that you are missing is in the Culver folder, which is in the in the F route, which is here. hopefully this solves your errors.

You can do whatever you want, once it is your work, and when necessary, you give credits to the specific people where it is due. Happy coding and can't wait!  :o :o

General BVE/OpenBVE / Re: Hmmsimm2 Question
« on: February 21, 2017, 08:13:28 pm »
For any of the routes to be played in Hmmsim2 for here, they need to be converted. The most of the routes in the download section are for BVE. you can view this link here to learn more about converting routes for hmmsim2. There is a route converted already here, but I don't know if it works.

Man I remember playing the reverse route since before OpenBVE, glad development is in process!

You mean the A to Lefferts, right? It was released before OpenBVE was made? wow, the route has some age to it. Thanks!

Quick question, will there be a late night shuttle scenario?

Funny you should ask that as the current route I am building has a nighttime texture for the background lol. Yes the first release hopefully will be the late night shuttle from Lefferts to Euclid, with the lead developer's permission.

56
Wow, and yeah, it is a challenge to code some of the complex sections.

Rockaway Blvd area is starting to come around, slowly.....

General BVE/OpenBVE / Re: Q Line From 96 St-2 Av
« on: January 24, 2017, 09:27:51 pm »
The route from 96th/2Av to Brighton Beach, which is the current version of the Q,  has not been coded yet due to the fact that is just opened lol. Any BVE route before was a fictional line and not realistic as it was made before the line opened. I don't know if any developers are coding from 96th/2Av to 57th/7th Av, but you could Pm one of the admins and ask if you want to code it instead  :P

Amazing work Sim! The route is looking great!

60
lol, it is not that serious  :D

The switches @ Lefferts Blvd need to be worked on before I start on Rockaway Blvd's own. They have been updated with textures from the rails to the catwalks. I'll just let the images speak for themselves...

And progress with Rockaway switches are coming along, slowly....
