Transit / A few sandy related questions regarding the subway...
« on: November 07, 2012, 10:28:51 pm »
i have a few questions regarding hurricane sandy and the subway.

1. how does the (1) train terminate at chambers street? i know it goes further south, but where does it change to the uptown track?

2. i was at 86th street on the (1) train and the next train announcements said "there is a downtown, local 1 train to van cortlandt park, 242nd street, approaching the station". what the hell happened there?

you guys dont have to answer the questions if you dont know, but im just kind of curious. thanks

The route will be changed to a .csv, right? To add the new signals it has to be a .csv....
It isn't .csv. If you look in any of the images, it says: NYCT-B (to Brighton).rw

General BVE/OpenBVE / Re: What I recently discovered...might help people

One thing I have noticed myself. The OpenBVE version on mac is a lot faster and has a ton less lag than on Windows. I can run the new R46 on the (D) flawlessly, just to show you what kind of operation we are running here.

iMac
Mac OS X 10.5.8
2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

I also have a laptop, but not planning to put OpenBVE on it.

MacBook Pro
Mac OS X 10.7.5
2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

I have that laptop, and openbve runs fine.
