On behalf of the staff at BVEStation, we want to wish you all a Happy New Year!

Our friends at OpenBVE Modernization the Brazilian OpenBVE community has released a beta of the Center 2 Line of the Recife Metro, a city in Brazil.  For more information visit the link below.

You probably found this thread by clicking the link from the M7 topic.  I've stated on that thread that there is no progress on this route, and it is up for grabs for continued development.  So if anyone wants to develop it, send me a PM and I'll send it over.

Do not ask for the route if you want to play it, you are warned there is no detailing what so ever, may not be accurate, and the tracks at Jamaica haven't even been placed.

If you open up the route file, find the RunInterval.  Increase the number to increase the "time" ahead the train in front is.

Cool, that will definitely help.  I'm not sure how Joe made the ones for NYCT though, those are accurate to the point where signaling, and slopes were correct as well.  The tracks at Jamaica were definitely something I needed and did not have.

I was working on the Atlantic Branch at one point, from Atlantic Terminal to Jamaica.

Unfortunately I did not deliver, as I planned to grab photos of as many buildings along the line, as well as some in the distance to make it feel more realistic, much like TS2014 have at least 4-5 blocks of buildings surrounding the tracks.  I didn't want to reuse any of the original NYCT objects.  Regardless, it was too much work for me as a single person to do, and much more now with my real life work schedules.  I've also lost a few textures since I made the route.

The luxury we have with NYCT routes was that the skeletons made by Joe were all accurate and based on actual track data. Something we lack with the LIRR and MNRR.  My skeleton of the Atlantic Branch was more or less a guesstimate from Google Maps.  So if anybody is interested, I can provide what I have of the route, but I do think it might be better to start from scratch.  I'd have to check my computers to see if I still have it.

Do you have those DLL files in your OpenBVE directory? If you do, right click the properties of them and unblock them.

They should look something like this,

The file has been put up on BVEStation.  Link is below.

Train Simulator 2016 / Re: TS 2015 Buying Steam Edition Again
« on: December 23, 2014, 02:48:34 am »
Ah ok, I just bought it and it just filled in what I didn't have, which is what I was expecting.  technically I bought the Steam Edition twice in this case, since it had the NEC this time around, which was exactly what I wanted.  What is dumb though is that it's still far more expensive if I were to pay for the route individually..

Until the next Steam Edition with another huge discount comes out with content I want, I will refuse to be ripped off :D

Train Simulator 2016 / TS 2015 Buying Steam Edition Again
« on: December 22, 2014, 02:42:35 pm »
For the guys that have TS2015, I'm wondering if you were to buy the Steam Edition again, will you get another copy of the game, or will the game automatically fill in the DLC's that were part of that package?
