Note to anyone running Avast, 2 installers come up as malware but it will rescind itself after about 10-15 seconds of analyzing.

Great route, some notes though:

I'm sure it's not 100% finished, those are some things I've noticed skipping The Bronx and Manhattan.

This route is fricken amazing!!! Nice job fellas!!!

But it seems as if some of the objects are missing for me. Was I supposed to overwrite the Lisa Raye objects?

the Brighton folder goes inside the LisaRaye2 folder (if you don't have it you must don't download the D or/and Q lines

Thanks JayJay, everything works great now. I accidentally overwrote the objects, but I downloaded them from the (D), and everything is working ship-shape. Great route altogether.

1 more suggestion. You might want to make the station speed limit 55 KPH instead of 25 KPH.

That's an error that occurred when i converted the file to CSV. Since then i fixed the file and now displays proper speed limits when passing posted signs. Also AI now follow timers.

IDK if this is just me, but...

34th Street:

This didn't happen before I added the Brighton folder, also, it's happening on both the B & D lines...

Don't replace the entire Lisa Raye 2 with the one they gave you, just put Brighton in. Everything works fine for me now.

Yeah, you have to merge the two folders together, not replace one with the other.

Is it me or does the B go express from 145 to 59? and start at 205th St

They said already that it was Central Pk West. And that it starts at 205 St. Read carefully next time please.

I didn't replace anything, I just dropped the Brighton folder in there....

here is what the folder should be like:

>railway
    >object
           >LisaRaye2
                >Brighton
                >(The other folders)

You may be missing some other dependency. Make sure the NYCTA object pack is installed, and also make sure the A, D, C, and Q lines are installed.

Well excuse me :o
But I thought that it was going to be a normal B route.. and it does say Bedford Park to Brighton Beach on this website

Everything is installed... something i installed with the (B) had to have caused it...

the C is not need for this route
only the A, D and possiblity the Q

Woah. Get a night off and this route comes out. Very nice.

Guys, there is nothing wrong with the route itself. I just ran it the entire way and no errors popped up.
If you guys can't get it for whatever reason, just use WinRar to extract the object executable and manually move the Brighton folder into the LisaRaye2
folder.

All in all, its a great route. Some changes I would make though is to add TJay's signals, implement the .brightness command, make a route that starts
from Bedford Park or 145 instead of 205 and also get a CPW Local version. Maybe a Brighton Local version as well perhaps?

Could you explain how you fixed it so other people who may have the issue know what to do?

I think my 6th Avenue object folder (6ave) got corrupted somehow, after I overwrote that everything fixed....

I'm excited about the route but disappointed at the same time because of the obvious problems the (B) starting at 205th then running express down CPW if anything this route is a modern Classic (D) route from 205th to Brighton Beach except I think the (D) ran Brighton local but I'm not sure of that.
Now if only someone would change nearly all the objects to an old school style such as the '69 Frank Shut it would be more amazing.

@Fox, when I was a kid, the (D) ran as a local.

When I was little, I rode the D line and the Orange Q line almost daily. The D ran local via Brighton to Coney Island, and the Q ran express via Brighton to Brighton Beach.

Thanks guys for the confirmation of the (D) being local back in the day.

I remember that like it was yesterday. Took that (D) to Cortelyou Rd to get home every day. Thanks for bringing the memories back DJ.

Nearly daily I would take the Brighton Line down to Brighton Beach from 7th Avenue (Brooklyn). I miss the days of the Orange Q a lot now..

I miss em Slants. I remember being little and commenting in how fast we were going because the train car was rocking side to side from the speed.

When I first ever stepped into the subway at Cotelyou Road, the first train I ever saw was a R40S 6 Av (Q) train coming around that corner. Those were the days.

Yeah I miss it too whenever I was in 34th street waiting for the D train and the Q would come on the express track the driver would wave and
talk to me that was also the first time I ever saw the R40 slant which I only rode on 4 times in my whole life

Amazing job, to everyone who contributed for making this route look so realistic and fun. I wish that i could play this route without my train being lag. But i can't :(. Does anyone know what graphic card i need to get in order for this route to work on my computer properly without lagging.

The problem might be the graphics drivers. While playing press f12 to turn cpu off, that should help a bit, then update your graphics driver according if u have ati or radeon. Check ure system properties
Title: Problem with trainset
Post by: arremm1 on December 18, 2012, 04:28:34 pm
I was trying to run the B Line 205 to Brighton Beach (SMEE) and I get an error that the train is not found.  I looked at the route and it calls for the R68 train.  In my train folder I have an R68A and an R68 OpenBve.  There are no other downloads for R68 trainsets in the download section.  Should I remane one of the trains or rename the train in the Route?

You must type the EXACT name in the place where you have to place train, if error persists choose another train (R160)

If you're using openBVE, then just use one of those two. OpenBVE doesn't require a particular train.
