Car couplers
« on: January 15, 2012, 12:43:39 pm »
Can someone pull an image up or diagram of how subway cars transfer power(signals between the controlling cab) and air without using air and electrical lines? i never saw these lines between cars so I'm assuming there aren't any., i know that they make a coupler with flat connection so they auto connect when put togeather but how does the power work. I know all about the third rail, so not asking about that.

the wire is actually within the coupler. you just barely see it for the most part.
