I have a suggestion, since many people cant get a full roster, why dont bvestation show the downloads of all the trains and reveal the progress of the trains so far. this could also be applied to routes

This was tried before and it failed; because people still ask for the progress.

That is not going to really make much of a difference. Giving news every month is not often enough for people to completely stop asking for progress, the only way to stop it would be to provide news everyday or at least every week, but that would not be realistic.

You're not understanding. Many people would still ask regardless of seeing how the completion of the route or train is going. People would continue to ask "when do you think you will finish?" or just even ask what the status is continuously because some are just not patient.

And how exactly would a beta be any faster than the final version?

If anything, the final version would be faster, since a lot of work between the beta and final stages consists of FPS optimization.

Honestly at this point, people with outdated systems/video cards shouldn't even worry about exteriors.  Exteriors no matter the quality would still technically slow your performance, those people should just be fine with the cab view until they can upgrade their system.

i agree or people with slower computers should try making their own FPS friendly exterior themselves, its not hard.

A. You go get a new computer with the right specs and you won't need to worry about any FPS issues.
B. You make the exteriors a rectangular prism with textures on it. This will give a lot of FPS back even though the exterior would have no details

not totally because JayJays R46 1st version was really really FPS friendly and it had pretty good exteriors and interiors. it can be detailed but when you add 3d poles and wheel trucks, thats when you start to drag

The amount of quality released is up to the discretion of the creator.  If they chose to release something FPS heavy, chances are, it's final and you are beat.
