That's a nice panel. It seems like you took those textures from the previews of my panel that I posted up. That's fine with me. If you want the files I can send them to you and you can decide whether you want to use those instead of yours.

I need to finish the panel for the train. It's just sitting on my computer halted because of lack of textures and school work keeping me so busy. I'm gonna have to try and get textures myself. But in the meantime I guess we're gonna have to use old panel.

Transit / Re: Since when is there a Brighton Beach on West End?

You think it may have gone through Coney Island like the NX a long time ago?

Every time I ride a 46 or 68 those lights are always on. Do you know what the orange lights mean?

36
My suggestion, have a photorealistic front bullet. The current bullet is below par to the train. Also, those lights right behind the cab in front of the door indicator lights should light up in purple like you see here

Other than this is one of the best exteriors I've seen. Well done  :D

Pelham 123 is a ok movie, don't watch the '98 remake that one wasnt even shot in NYC lol.. The whole thing was based on a book if you're interested, I have yet to read that though.

imo Speed is still the better foamer movie :P
Maybe for the bus foamer lol. The 2009 remake wasn't that bad but not as realistic like the classic 1974 movie. I found the book on amazon in two versions. One softcover book with the 2009 cover and a hardcover book with the 74 or 73 cover which is quite more expensive. I wonder if it's the same story in both books.

I was trolling around youtube and managed to get this. All you have to do is click on the video next to it and watch it in parts if you don't mind. It's a wonderful movie from 1974 and not the one from 2009 which wasn't that bad but what can beat this? Enjoy

Here you are:

lol did you just magically transform into Mr. Railfan?

I'm not trying to offend anyone and i'm sorry if I do but i'm starting to get tired of the same objects being used repeatedly in the same ways in the same places such as the end of the station.

lol just make the part blue. And it'll be transparent but it has to be the darkest shade of blue

Restarting work. Apparently working out of Sketchup makes the project look a lot more vibrant. I'll continue works from here while looking for a way to convert to BVE, without slowing down computers.

Interior is moving along as well:

Railworks style quality. This is the best exterior I have seen for OpenBVE in my life. I'm sitting here checking the Recently Unread Topics and I think it's just gonna be someone else foaming over the first few images but then I see this masterpiece and physics keeps my jaw from dropping to the ground. Please take all the time you need and don't drop the quality of the work just because you want to have it released by a certain time. Foamers can wait. I'm glad there's people out there that spend so much time creating this wonderful work and I don't think enough people appreciate all the effort put into this. My suggestion: finish this first then convert to BVE.

but would it decrease FPS even if it wasnt 3d? just edited the track texture with a reskin
?
and if i did make one with good framerate, could i upload it in the objects section?

Sometimes if the texture is too large it can cause problems in loading and gameplay on some lower-end computers.
I think he meant keeping the same size of the textures (pixels) but just modifying them. Sorta like i'm doing with the R32 panel. I think it's a nice idea to have trash in the route but not too much because in reality I really don't see much trash when I ride the trains and that's about 10 times a week (only including the daily commute to school)

Yes, but only if it uses real-life stations. If it does not, you will have to hand-draw the textures in Paint.NET or something. This is why fictional routes can not be 5th Generation, because they can not be completely photorealistic, since their real life counterparts do not exist.
I think that technically you can just create a completely new route over existing structures and call it fictional because it doesn't/never exists but wouldn't it be a fifth gen route?

If you're talking about the route file, you right click on the file and click Open With Notepad. Then you edit whatever you need to.
