Title: Video recording
Post by: Failsafe on November 06, 2011, 12:00:07 pm: Hello all current bvestation members, i would like to ask a question. What recording software should i use to record my routes? i use fraps but even a 30 sec video comes out to 389 MB which is way to much. i want to share my videos with u guys so what program do u suggest? Video records in half the screen resolution. Say if your game's resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels, FRAPS will record half that. So the video file will be 640 x 360 pixels.

You can also use a video renderer, such as sony Vegas, movie maker, etc. With that, you can edit, trim, add effects and convert to hd. The file size will be more reasonable

Yes, it depends on your upload speeds. Some people can upload several MB a second, but I am only around 500kb/sec

Post by: error46146 on November 07, 2011, 02:42:41 pm: I usually just run it through Movie Maker and compress it to a lower resolution (320x240 is fine if you're uploading it to youtube or something)
