NYCTA Projects / Re: Status of Routes as of October 2011
« on: November 03, 2011, 10:55:33 pm »
The (W) skeleton is already done(although it depends on if you're talking about the real one, as this topic is for real routes anyway). I still have it laying around somewhere. The Astoria portion will be added to the R skeleton upon release, as it says in JayJay's lengthy update.

if u do a beta test i want in

me too i wanna be a bta tester

He never said anything about BETA testing. Is there a reason why every new project on this forum needs to be BETA tested immediately after it is announced?

I have finished a skeleton of the (2) via the (1) to City College.

It's being worked on by myself, Phantom909(original developer) and Rayvon. This route will have NTT announcements thanks to Lance.

Release date is unsure but I will post pictures soon.

I had an announcement of the 2 via the 1 in Brooklyn, but it was on my other laptop(now some 500 miles away). It'll take some time to get it, if you're not expecting it soon.

I'm one of the only people, along with Joe and Lexington456, who have the Lexington Avenue object folder(because we are in charge of development, of course), and that's not leaving our sight until the line is completed. Please wait patiently.

-There will be no BETA tests. I do not support BETA testing.
-There will be no premature releases of this line, such as skeletons. When I hit Woodlawn and send it to Joe for consideration, he will release it in due time after that.
-Do not fill up my PM box asking me about the development of the line. When I update the respective topic, you and everyone else on the forum will know about it.
-For the select few who know(or at least remember what I posted), I am not back into development just yet.
-There is a wide forum out here waiting for you to read. If you've read the boards, you'll find the projects that you're asking for, and it doesn't cost you but an extra five minutes.

Take a moment to step back from your computers, breathe some of that fresh New York air, and then pick up a book and read, or go play some sports. Obviously if you've been monitoring how long a person has been online or offline tells me that you've had your face planted at the computer screen for just as long.

Well if they really do it in L.A. I hope they continue CJ's story as a "years later" story or something.

You could try taking pictures? I don't know.

Or you could try navigating around the forum, and actually look for, and find their development topics. I'm just saying.

NYCTA Projects / Re: Status of Routes as of September 2011

Development on the (4) will resume in mid to late October. I am beginning the transition of all my work from Windows XP to Windows 7, as well as relocating to the Chicago area for a couple of months. I will try to keep everyone updated.

Topic moved to the Official NYCTA Development Center.

Stellar work on the exterior. I'm thinking that it could use some minor improvements (not better textures per se, but better lighting) but nothing too excessive that will detract from the work you did. Keep it up!

Awesome work TJay. I know I haven't been around but you're making some sweet progress on this. Good luck!

Well, it's about time for me to head out. Yes, I'm leaving.

Oh, well, not for good, I'm just going on hiatus for a moment. In the meantime, the projects that this post resides in, or requires my input will be halted until an indefinite date. As much as it pains me to put the projects on halt just as they were making major progress, I have no choice.

For those reading this post and begin to go “oh great, development stopped again” I suggest you step away from the computer screen and find yourself a hobby, or a book, because I do have a personal life. A handful of people know what I’m going to be doing from now, but for the others, you just have to sit tight, and use the latest development pictures as eye candy.

Well, that’s pretty much it. Keep doing what you’re doing, and I’ll be back before you know it. Aaron (RachelBerryFan47) Rayvon, Mr Railfan, and Gong Gahou will continue to keep you updated on the progress of the R62 and R62A.
