Hello. When i Try to Load a Route This Error Pop's Up. "Paramenter is Not Found"    Is There a Way to Fix This?

This is usually a error OpenBVE puts out when running out of address space (VAS). Generally in BVE this is caused because many versions out there (Including the 15.04 version on this site) is not set to be Large Address Aware. (LAA) This means Windows will only allocate 2GB VAS to the APP. Here is what you need to do correct this.  Once this is done Windows will allocate the full 4GB VAS (3GB running on a 32bit OS) which is the max a 32bit app can address.

Technically, yes, before all timed sections, there should be GT/ST signs. If it just says T, normally it's a stand-in for GT, or it is a permanent ST that is always activated.

No, it is NOT possible to encounter a red timed signal without first seeing a yellow. If that crops up anywhere in this route, do let me know, although I think I was thorough enough to avoid that.

Mike I found 3 instances where this has occurred. Between 168th and 145th There's a green signal just prior to the first curve and on the other end is a timer. At the end of 86th st is a green, then followed by timers, then between Chambers and Fulton, there is a double green followed by timers. The signals in the  rest of the route looks good.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / OpenBVE RANSOM WARE VIRUS WARNING
« on: June 14, 2017, 07:28:37 pm »
I started having issues with my current OpenBVE installation so I decided to get a fresh copy from the Download section. There are 2 (Windows) The pinned 1.504 version and the one marked stable. I downloaded both. The 1.504 version actually came up 1.430 while the version marked Stable came up 1.20. (I think I did this with the 1.504 version since it was the later version though it could have been the 1.2 and may actually effect both.) Thinking there may be a later version available I clicked on the "Visit Official Web Page link on OpenBVE's GUI. Big mistake, it took me to a site that claimed both visually and audibly to be downloading a virus that would lock my computer and I needed to call a number to release. Immediately I shut my system down as it was displaying a authorization login I couldn't clear. Luckily the system booted normally again, I ran a virus scan and it showed clear, I cleared all my cache and temp files, so I think I got it in time. as there are no negative effects I can detect andf virus and malware scans show clean. So I just wanted to warn people DO NOT CLICK ON THAT LINK (Emphasis intended). Like I said it could just be that version or both (Maybe all OpenBVE versions, if that link which was later taken over by a malware site.)

Note: They posted the updated 6thave objects, download and install, and you won't have to use the procedure I posted.

There's a new version of the A from 207th st to Far Rockaway out now on openBVEConnect.com Here's a video Note the announcements (From the Howard Beach version) are my own modifications. and the tunnel lighting is from the Howard beach route. Also note, unless they fixed it, there is a problem on the elevated section of the route. The problem is objects that is included in the package in the IND 8th Ave object folder the route looks for them in the 6thAve object. To fix download the updated 6th avenue objects in the link below and install into your Object folder.

NYCTA Projects / Re: (WIP) Official Update Thread For The R68/R68A

In my opinion, I'd suggest the WIP R68/A's should be available as a BETA to those who have donated in the GoFundMe for speeding up any sort of progress at hand. It's only fair.

I believe that was the plan, but as with the R142A, this model contained assets from another developer, that didn't allow to be publicly released, so he has to remove and replace all the affected objects in the model. Depending on how much was used, this could take time.

No the R142A was the only one released to the donators, both I believe will be in the final release at the end of the month.

I think it is for the donated, and a full release later in the month or year. The full released date is a TBA so we will see today hopefully when the full release date is.

"It will be easy for the person to change out configs, March 12 will be the offical first public release for the R68 ...no more beta releases that was way too stressful." (The Express/XD60)

The thing that was big, was the announcement (on Facebook) that the first Phase of his 7 line project is completed, (34th st to Hunters Pt Ave) and he's moving on to Phase 2, then 3, and 4.

Are you talking about for Joystick Throttle control? If so what you need to set if you have a single throttle is the Power Half Axis and Brake Half Axis setting. Set one to the Positive Axis and the other to the Negative Axis. If you are lucky enough to have 2 separate throttles, you would use the Power Full Axis on one and the Brake Full Axis on the other. Edit: I should have added, you need to set Single Full Axis also for trains with a single control like the R160's.

I have all the dependencies installed, LisaRaye2, 6th Avenue, 8th Avenue, Culver, and NYCTA A line, is there any dependency I'm missing?

Make sure you have the latest versions, especially the LisaRaye2 objects! That one got me in the past! Latest versions are in the download section

NYCTA Projects / Re: (WIP) Official Update Thread for the R44
« on: August 13, 2014, 04:52:57 pm »
I think it's still a work in progress, and they are just using the R32 sounds as a place holder. Being this is the same team that made both the R32,38 and R46 (and others), I think it's safe to say they know what an R44 sounds like.  In fact the sounds of the OpenBVE R46 are very close to what  the R44 sounds like, especially the brake release sounds at least Pre overhaul. Having rode the R44 everyday back in the 70's on the D line.
