I have some good news =). The shuttle route is completed and all object permissions have been squared away. The LRV will have a static exterior, which is almost completed, as well as a 3D cab, which is coming along really well =)

Everything is fine, except the LRV keeps derailing when the route loads, regardless of which route it I try to run it on. Other trains work as normal on the HBLR route, though.
No wonder that ant gets around so fast! He has his own subway.

HBLR SHUTTLE PATCH RELEASED (AGAIN)
« Reply #21 on: May 17, 2015, 07:07:13 am »
The route has been updated due to a minor inaccuracy near 8th street. If you have already downloaded the file, simply extract the patch available at http://www.mediafire.com/download/pqzgxecqbcay8pt/HBLR+Patch+v1.zip to your OpenBVE directory and overwrite if asked.

Yes, unfortunately the train physics aren't complete yet, so derailments have to be disabled in OpenBVE to properly use the train. This will be fixed with a patch.

I know this is a nearly dead topic, but there has been quite a bit of route progress. I have some news, good and bad. The bad news is that we will no longer be supporting the OpenBVE version of this route, however, we are developing a Railworks version of the HBLR that encompasses the ENTIRE system. It is done as a skeleton and is undergoing heavy scenery decoration and wayside detailing. A preview will be made public when the development team chooses to do so. The OpenBVE skeleton from Hoboken to 8th Street will be released to the public domain when the full Railworks version of this route is completed.
