Transit / Re: How'd R160's Look on the (B)
« on: June 21, 2011, 08:29:57 pm »
People don't give two shats whether the actual route bullet is up on the front of the train or if its a bunch of red LED dots. I think the only thing most people that take the subway care about is whether they get them to their destination on time.

Standard VGA Graphics just means that you didn't install your video card drivers.

1GB of RAM isn't enough for Windows 7, and openBVE hogs up a pretty good amount of RAM depending on your route. Windows 7 allocates about 300MB of RAM if you have a total of 512 MB, 500 MB of you have 1GB, 700 MB if you have 2GB and I think anything more then that, it'll take 1.2 GB of RAM. Right click your desktop, hit Personalize, and use the Windows Classic theme. Any Aero theme will hog up too much RAM. Windows Classic might be ugly to you, but it'll ease up on system resources.

Also, download this:
http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

It should be able to detect any graphics card even without their drivers installed. Post the name of your graphics card here.

is it me or is the coding the same exact one as the (C)?
The only real change is that it starts in the Bronx. Also, the rails on the tracks arent parallel, there are platforms on the Concourse Express tracks, and there are missing objects basically everywhere.

152 MB... thats a real doozy lol.. I think that we really have to start finding a way to reduce the size of these files. Slow internet users won't be able to get new content if files remain this large all the time.

I tested the route. I first manually operated the train, and the route was pretty good. Then, I activated the AI. It seems the AI has issues recognizing the signals, because it blows through yellows at 55 MPH. Any way to first that?

I was hoping to fly on a Airbus A380, but unfortunately the prices to ride the A380 to Paris were way too high  :'(

You sure like the Boeing 777. For me, flying the payware Boeing 777 is extremely difficult. I also like those jetBlue Airbus A320s

To my friend Kenneth, who is a IT Pro and Captain in the US Army, I'm happy that you have not been injured in combat before and best of luck to you.

Here is a better way: I take control of your computer using a program called TeamViewer and I SHOW you what to do, instead of all of us trying to explain it.

PM me the ID and password when your ready.

openBVE needs the .NET Framework. You can't get that on a OS other then Windows, which means you need to find workarounds to that. Read all the instructions. I know it gives you a Windows version, but if you read the instructions you can still launch the game.

http://trainsimframework.org/use/download_unix.html

Read the ENTIRE thing. Don't skip around else your gonna miss  something.

Very nice Pacific! I'm surprised I didn't see any McDonnell Douglas DC-10's!
DC-10 = Death Certainty: 10%

Pacific, where did you get the new United Boeing 747 livery? Me want!!!! :P

BTW are these payware aircraft or freeware?

Also, I think it would look nice if you add an A380 in there

Got my BVE to run at 2500 x 1600... though the trains and routes look awkward because I don't think content here was desigined for such a high resolution

I don't see how it's possible to complete a route in 1 hour
