Station Talk / WEATHER ADVISORY - Hurricane Irene
« on: August 25, 2011, 10:13:29 pm »
Because of the Hurricane conditions all MTA New York City Transit will be closed on Saturday.

If you are near areas with large bodies of water, its suggested you evacuate as soon as possible.

I will be gone for atleast a week or two depending on the situation because I am a register disaster relief volunteer.

I will try to cover Brooklyn and other areas voluntarily with a team already made.

If you need help in packing required belongings and First Aid please visit these link below:

Most of these routes being created today is cool and adds a vibrant encyclopedia to our library of routes. But it would be nice if when we are doing runs using your routes we can actually know the towers and switches to make fantastic G.O.'s.

Soa suggestion for myself and other developers was to make a little notepad document with a track map of your toutes with switches and different tower locations. That way we can use your route via Teamspeak and do some wonders with classes and training.

Some of the older route that already being published are being studied by myself and will be released in the post for future dispatchers and RCC's.

Any other suggestions for myself and othe route developers you can post here and I will try my best to edit them in my routes and for other developers to see. Thanks for reading and understanding in advance.

Station Talk / Lexington Av and 7 Av Mix Up
« on: June 02, 2011, 08:33:12 am »
So I was on the phone with my son (Bebo), when i get off the shuttle from Prospect i see a 4 pull up saying:

(4) Franklin Av
(4) via 7 Av Lcl
(4) Eastern Pkwy Exp

and the 5 was:

(5) Crown Hts - Utica
(5) via 7 Av Exp
(5) Eastern Pkwy Lcl

It appears that a rail condition at 77th street on the (6) forced them to run it on the express track. So they ran the (4)(5) via 7 Av and the (6) exp between Grand Central and 125 in both directions.

I wish i had some pics but it shows the MTA can make some crazy re-routes.

Other Projects / (2) Local & (2) Express to 42nd Street
« on: March 24, 2011, 03:09:03 pm »
A little project I worked on before opening up some other routes.

This special (2) route runs via the (1) from 14th Street to 34th Street. An idea cam to my head is to actually try it on Newtown servers before actually contacing Kevin and the original author of the (2) route. So I am asking for some help in testing this project out. If this is illegal please let me know ahead of time please. But also this can be a break through in simulation experience.

Thanks for reading!
