BVE/OpenBVE Support / Help with openBVE for Windows 8...
« on: March 31, 2013, 12:38:16 pm »
I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 8. I installed openBVE and ran the program. When I tried to run the A, this happened...

Does anyone know why this may have happened and how I can fix it? I have tried re-installing the route, with no sort of progress. I have a Compaq Presario CQ62 with an AMD V120 2.2GHz Processor and 2GB of RAM.

Thanks,
Jashawn

Hey guys,

I, for one, have enjoyed playing the (U) train route in the past using BVE 4. Would it be possible to code this route for openBVE?

Thanks,
Jashawn

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Help with Exteriors
« on: April 08, 2012, 07:09:44 pm »
Hey,

Ever since I updated openBVE to it's latest version, the exteriors of my trains has been weird. If I go into exterior mode, only part of each car would show, and on the R68, this happens, and the operating cab turns white. Can someone help me with this?

Whenever I use this route, the images start to lag. I have deleted and re-installed the route, but got the same result. Is there anyway I can fix this problem? I figured out my problem; The R153 I was using caused the lagging, so I used the R68, and it worked fine.....

So, I just downloaded the R179, but when I ran it on openBVE, the train came up as a bunch of whiteboxes, and when I switched to interior view, the train became invisible. How can I fix this?

Hmm looks like some kinda memory problem with the program?

Delete openbve, download and reinstall it again, and try using these dependencies (i have the whole set here for your convenience):
http://www.mediafire.com/?jnmadmezddt

MAKE SURE YOU CLICK THE OFFICIAL "Start Download from Mediafire" LINK AND NOT THOSE OTHER HUGE GREEN ATTRACTIVE DOWNLOAD BUTTONS lol

I still got the same message!

I'm trying to install openBVE on my computer, but I'm having problems. I followed ALL the instructions listed @ the official openBVE site, including installing the dependencies, and checking to see if my computer had Microsoft. Net. Framework, verision 2.0 installed. I have everything, but when I try to open the application, my computer says this...

Can someone help me solve this problem?

Thanks,
Jashawn

I am an administrator on my computer, but IDK how to grant myself permission. The one trainset I'm having problems with is error46146's R46. My comptuter says that it can't open the file, because I need permission.

Hi! I'm new to the forums.

Anyways, I downloaded BVE2 today, as well as a couple of routes. However, when I tried to download trainsets for the (A), (V), (F), (E), & (7), my computer says that I don't have permission to open these files. Can someone help me?

Thanks,
Jashawn
