This is the new page for the (9) (10) (11). For those who were following the old thread, you know this line is very well along, but has been halted due to my involvement with the development for the (4) and now the (6). Here are some pics to refresh your memory

Ok this is an update on the line. I'm dedicating the entire summer and most of the fall to this line. But there have been some changes made.
1. With BStyles and BDC International having dropped the idea of an IRT route, the (11), DRT has acquired rights to the line and the (12) Madison Avenue Local has now become the (11) Madison Avenue Local, running it's original planned route from 125th Street in Manhattan to Broadway Junction in Brooklyn.
2. To avoid the IRT Madison Avenue Line becoming a carbon copy of the IRT Lexington Avenue Line, 96th Street and 72nd Street will be installed as express stations as opposed to just 86th Street. 59th Street will remain an express station.
3. TJay's Object Pack will be an integral part in this route. The walls, tracks, and dikes will widely be used. If you don't download his object pack, this route will not work for you. I didn't want to use timers in this route, but it seems as though it will be necessary that some portions of this route will need them, and since it's becoming a lot more common in IRT, I guess I should use them.
4. There are negotiations between DRT and BDC International of releasing the (9), (10), (11), <HL> and Manny's latest development all together at once upon completion.
As of right now, BDC International is renovating the track work, installing switches, and renovating walls, ceilings, and dikes along the IRT Webster Avenue Line. The IRT Webster Avenue Line has been completed structurally. Detailing of stations will resume once the renovations are complete.
This is a huge step in the positive direction for the (9) (10) and (11), so continue to stay posted, and stay informed.
-
Also in a little minor note in a seperate thread that will be posted soon, DRT also has owner ship of the old (12) line and instead of being on Madison Street it will be on 11th Avenue and Columbus Avenue. Construction is already underway with the help of BDC International.

Nice to see that there are more great routes on the way, can't wait :)
-
nice work
-
Now that's definitely IRT right there. Poor planning leading to jumbles of confusing tracks. Nice work capturing the feel of it. This looks like a VERY fun route to drive!
By the way, those el tracks look fresh. Will we be seeing those on the route or will you be replacing them with tjays or jayjays?

Thanks. I initially had drawn out the track works but couldn't put it to fruition. So I had to rework it.
And I already replaced the tracks with TJay's stuff. But doing that has made this route OpenBVE only

Man, are those ever some awesome looking textures! ;D This is just impressive ;D (Couldn't think of any better words to describe it)
-
Wow! Simply amazing beautiful background and the objects to go along!
-
Jason....you outdid yourself....simply amazing bro!
-
Awesome work! These texture are off the chain. This route has the element of swag in it lol
-
Never mind about the map.Awesome work!
-
Amazing work! By the way, will this incorporate the NYCTBVE track sounds format? I would hate to hear underground track noises when I'm driving on an elevated structure.

I have to learn how to incorporate that into it. Once I do that, I'll see if I want to or not

It's been a long time since I posted in this thread. It's also been a long time since I even did work on this project, or even been on this website.
As a guy who likes to finish what he starts, I almost feel obligated to continue this line. And although it's gonna go against my better judgment, I'm going to share with you guys what's going on, and may even release the project on this website.
Few things I'd like to get off my chest: In my humble, personal opinion, this site, fanning itself, routebuilding, they are ALL nowhere NEAR as fun as they used to be. Maybe it's because I've grown in the 4-5 years I've been on this site, and others who have grown with me feel the same. I'm a college student, like some of the admins and others. And I also work, like a lot of you. Look at the recently banned BStyles, he's overseas in Guam exploring the other side of the globe while serving his country. And he's only a year or two older than I. Stuff like that makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing with my life. Making train routes? Twig is living his life the way he wants to, and doesn't seem to stress himself about railfanning at all. Rayvon is back and forth on here, and who knows where the heck Joe is. LJ is doing what he's always been doing, getting high grades and high salaries. Imanuel is just doing him, typical cases and rib-breaking stories of Manny being Manny (Red Sox fans know what I'm talking about).
There are days when I feel the lore of being a railfan, and there are other days when I'm ashamed to even consider myself one. And I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Who knows, maybe I'm just bitter. Maybe we're all just bitter. BVEStation had a good run, 5 years of innovation, friendship, and pride. But all good things must come to an end, as it is the end of an era as we know it. Some of the guys from that era have been banned, others just decided to try other things. But whatever, it's all for a computer game right?
Case in point, I'm going to try and give it my all to try and complete this line or get as much done before I go back to school at the end of August. Be on the lookout
-
BStyles got BANNED? He was mean alright, but he made high quality stuff. I'll never get to use his R142 that he was making.

Nah he isn't. He's still here.

The issue with that and other members have been resolved back on topic please.
This route will be helping residents in downtown and East NY/Midwood area. A map will be displayed shortly

Probably haven't been around enough to concern myself with day-to-day site activities(or the fact that I was supposedly banned), but apparently I'm still here, so I'll drop in from time to time. Kind of hard to situate myself with the younger crowd(which don't have a bright outlook when it comes to certain things on this site, but I digress), but if I do come out as being a mean person then I do apologize.
Anyways Jason, if you're up to complete this project then I'll help in any way I can. I actually have more time on my hands than I originally thought I would have, so if you're up for it, then let me know.
BStyles

BStyles freed up space on his forehead. Therefore he can accept more RAM. lol
We will post screen shots soon, track work has been constructed up to 72nd Street.

Isn't this the (12) line, or is that what you said?

Yes, yes we do lol: Manny Ramirez bloopers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrPZsPTUO1o#)
Anyways, are you gonna follow the same layouts you had already designed?
-
Yeah we should be. I will try to make a diagram when I have the chance.
