I had the same issue. A solution would be to turn off derailments in the options before starting the route.

I have a kinda related question to this discussion

What exactly is the fleet on the 7?

I have personally rode R62a's, an R142, and R188's  all within the last week.....does corona yard have any R142a's?

They aren't actually R142A's. The 7 fleet consists of R62A's, and R188s, which are a mix of brand new R188s and some converted R142A's, taken from the 6 train.

I didn't think that the R62 and R62a could run together... I take the 6 everyday and haven't seen R62s there.

On another note, I'm pretty sure the R1/9 train runs every weekend during December. Not sure if it's Saturday or Sunday though.

No problem. You could always just get a windows partition set up on your mac using bootcamp. It works pretty well.

Sorry to say but the roll signs don't work on mac. The plugin that makes them work is windows only.

The R142 uses Alstom ONIX AC Traction model: 4LCA1640A
The R160 uses Alstom ONIX AC Traction model: 4LCA1640A

They are the same.

Transit / R142A Conductor
« on: January 12, 2014, 12:38:47 pm »
I take the (4) (5) (6) in the morning, and over the past week, I've seen two trains with conductors riding in the in the 5th car instead of the 6th. One time on the 4, when the doors on the 6th car weren't opening, and once on the 6. Why would this happen?

You can download them as MP3 Files using a youtube to MP3 converter. Look it up :)
After that, you can use a program called Audacity to cut out the sounds that you want.
I hope this helps

The R62 uploaded here does not have an exterior. There is another one somewhere that does have one however. I am not sure what the link for it is.

The R188's have CBTC... other than that, I'm not too sure.
