I have finished a skeleton of the (2) via the (1) to City College.
It's being worked on by myself, Phantom909(original developer) and Rayvon. This route will have NTT announcements thanks to Lance.
Release date is unsure but I will post pictures soon.

He never said anything about BETA testing. Is there a reason why every new project on this forum needs to be BETA tested immediately after it is announced?

I had an announcement of the 2 via the 1 in Brooklyn, but it was on my other laptop(now some 500 miles away). It'll take some time to get it, if you're not expecting it soon.

Lmao! When you get it you know where to find me take your time. I still gotta get help from Ray with detailing and joe with proper switch and curve placements.

Come to think about it can you backtrack from Franklin Av to making a portion of the (3) starting from Crown Heights so a route can be from Crown Hts.
If ya think about it I'm sure u did but the (3) uptown is basically made from Franklin to 42nd.

You should reach out to Joe then, from what I've heard he finished the 2 up to 96th Street, and i have walls for everything, i'll send them to you when I find them lol

I believe that Bill has the animation codes already when I helped him with the R160. You're a good friend too :p

Thats crazy to me.I would assume that the Southbound (1) will be using standard walls also.If its not the (2) to 137th should share objects from the (1).If not then hold off and see if anyone would volunteer to get nice textures whether it takes a week or a month.

Standard walls it is. Once the Southbound 1 makes some more progress then we can worry about high detail.

Hey everyone, heres a update on the 2 via the 1 line
i have the local to 137th street updated with new tunnel walls & am going to add trippers which means the train will REALLY GO INTO EMERGENCY MODE. just like in real life. im going to also see if i can find the trip arms that move so that they go up and down. i will be posting a video very soon so make sure to stay up to date with my youtube @ https://www.youtube.com/user/nyctraindriver (https://www.youtube.com/user/nyctraindriver)
The Express service to 137th street needs to be refitted so i will try to work on it when i get some free time. meaning the 3.0 verison of the 2 via the 1 line (Local) may be released soon.

Trying to update the post as best as possible for all people wondering whats going on with the line:
The (2) line is being constructed to be extended from 137th Street - City College to Van Cortlandt Park - 242nd Street.
The line also has some new features such as:
- Animated trippers that actually trip the train (available on train sets with built in safety systems)
- Realistic textures
- New and accurate IRT signals
Please stay tuned for more updates.
