The (7) is in the process of being updated by the OpenBVE Connection developers. Don't know their progress though.
Also EDawg was doing the Manhattan-bound (7) wasn't he? I thought development stopped, if not just slowed down?

2
Such as the old one? I would LOVE for that to happen again!

It still wont work. The signals show up, but nothing else. Im putting the culver, 6th ave lines in the J/Z oject folder. Am I doing this right? Can someone please post a tutorial?

No don't put the culver and 6th av folders IN the J/Z object folder. Put it into the GENERAL object folder.

Other Projects / Fictional New York City Subway IND (K) Line
« on: October 17, 2014, 04:14:49 pm »
Hi guys. It's been a while, and I wanted to show you a fictional route I've been working on. I've been working on this trying to find the inspiration (or the motivation) to keep working the (E) and etc.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6npAg43T5Hs

This route has 3 branches.
-The Elizabeth Branch, which ends at Newark Liberty Airport.
-The Cranford Branch, which ends at High Street.
-The West Shore Branch, which joins up with the Main Line which ends at Perth Amboy.
The video is of the Elizabeth Branch to Arlington.
Map: http://goo.gl/maps/X5mmy
(Note: Route continues but I'm too lazy to finish it now.  :P )

All of the branches are complete up to Arlington, and the details for the Elizabeth & Cranford branches are almost done. The West Shore Branch is going to take a while to complete, as it needs a lot of work due to being in a highway median. Video of Cranford Branch will come soon.
Stay tuned!

Okay, so here's an update. It's been a while and I thought I should, so I made 2 videos. Enjoy!

UGH I keep forgetting how to embed it onto here.

throwback

SOAC huh? I wonder what would be if they actually made those cars for the MTA not just for experimental service.

Nice work TFI. Didn't know you did the Manhattan bound E as well

Yeah, totally forgot to mention.

With permission from error46146 (I HOPE :S), I have received the Manhattan-bound route and am updating the objects, so I can hopefully make a release soon. (Can't make promises)

8
And as stated in the previous post, here is the Manhattan-bound route:

OpenBve Manhattan-bound (E) line from Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer to Queens Plaza

9
Okay, I know I haven't updated in a long time, so here's a video I made:

OpenBVE Queens-bound (E) Line from Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike to Jamaica-179th Street

I'm going to post another video I made of the Manhattan-bound route later.

I tried again this time following the Speed Limit and I still catch the train at 23rd st, Brooklyn

This is an issue in the route file with a code. This can be fixed by going into the route file and changing:
velocity=25
to
velocity=56

BTW, the (V) doesn't go into Brooklyn. You're talking about Queens.  ;)

I want to add to what Fan Railer is saying. You see this is how the files are supposed to be like
Railway\Objects\FIRR\(The files that you see). This way is the correct way to have your files.

In some cases, it is sometimes be like this
Railway\Objects\FIRR\FIRR\(The files that you see)
This is not the correct way to have the files. If it like this, the game is not going to get the files that the game needed.

It's not Railway\Objects, it's Railway\Object.

How do you do the switches in the second picture?

Sort of complicated. You first pick the switch object you need to use. Then you place the switch as an object.

i like it good job on it.

Thanks!

It's been a long time, but here's an update.

OpenBVE NYC Subway Queens-bound (G) from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to Court Square via the (F)

I know there are A LOT of errors and bad objects, but this will be fixed in the following days.
(Credit goes to the developers of the original northbound (F) and (G) lines.)

Merry Christmas to everybody!

Very good. The only things that I notice that need to be added in are station details and smooth curves, otherwise, it looks very nice.

Thanks, the version in the video was outdated, the curves are in now; I just still need to add the station details.  ;)

I'm wondering what train you are using, it sounds like a hybrid of an R32, R46 and R160  :o

It's probably just my computer because it lags a lot (>:( dang it), especially while making videos like these.

Sweet!!! I can't wait til it's finished

Thanks!  :D

So I haven't posted any updates in a while so I thought I might as well post a video. The route shown in this video is before the pictures, so it may look less detailed than it is now.
