I've decided to restart the project. This time, instead of going for the hard (exterior, interior, animations) stuff, I'm starting with the easy (Sounds, Train.dat info) Stuff.

Here's a small preview:
Openbve - R68 Select sounds preview

You should fade out the wave sounds, they will sound a lot more realistic.

The brake pressure sounds and the emergency brake.  Otherwise, great sounds you have.

Openbve (Teaser) - R68 loop and some other sounds preview

Here's the new "loop" sounds
Once I get all the sounds in place, I will start fading the sounds (as zerobeats suggests)
In addition, I might need somebody to help me fix the volumes of all the sounds to match once I'm done.

R68 Train update: Version 1 will be released in less than a month. In this version, the sounds will be updated with a chance for a new panel.
In version 2, there will be a new exterior and interior. A new panel is definite by then.

One more thing, there will be 2 versions, where you can drive from the 1st car and another from the 4th car.

UPDATE: This train will have Mr. Railfan's R68 Panel. (http://forums.bvestation.com/index.php?topic=739.msg7950#msg7950)

In addition, I need to get 2 more sounds (Point and CpEnd) and do the motor+sounds.

I'm curious about the exterior this train will have  ??? Will it be just as good as the WIP R44?

In version 1, there won't be an exterior. In the final, there will be one and it should be as good, if not better than the R44

Interesting, but is the final version the only one to be released, or will Version 1 be released for now?
