General BVE/OpenBVE / T sign on LU routes
« on: November 30, 2011, 04:44:09 pm »
Does anyone know what the "T" sign on the London Underground routes mean? I think it's for a certain speed limit but I'm not sure what speed.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: WMATA help
« on: May 21, 2011, 08:14:41 am »
thanks for the tips, as soon as I read what you posted I tried zooming out but when it loads it's automatically zoomed all the way out.
I had BVE 2 and I know It works completely fine, I think it's that openBVE is not finding the pics of the speed limits, there supposed to appear in the box that openBVE refers to as "Markers" on their "how to play" page. I have the pics in the right place, it's just not seeing them.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / WMATA help
« on: May 20, 2011, 05:47:16 pm »
Hi, Jmckeen again

I am here asking for more help,

I've had the WMATA route for quite a while, but ever since I got openBVE it has not worked properly. I started by using the fix on the openBVE forums, the route has loaded well, the only problem is too see the speed limit a box appears in the top right corner, but this has not been happening and in the error box while (49 errors to be exact!) errors appear, similar to this one:
/WMATA/55mph.bmp not found in Track.Marker at line 484, column 2 in file C:\Program Files\openBVE Content\Railway\Route\WMATARed\v16b_6000.rw

errors like these happen over and over again. files like 55mph.bmp are in the object folder.

                                                      any ideas? :(

BVE/OpenBVE Support / PSD Help
« on: May 10, 2011, 04:33:13 pm »
Hi, I'm having trouble with a route I just downloaded that has platform screen doors. When I pull up to a stop and open the doors the train doors open but the PSDs stay closed. Is there some special button I should be pressing?

  Route: London Underground Jubilee Line
  Train: LT 1995

                                                                                        Jmckeen :(

(p.s. I have a different route with PSDs and in that route they open when the train doors open)

General BVE/OpenBVE / Re: R38 Rollsign Editing
« on: March 28, 2011, 07:25:12 am »
THANK YOU! I added a bunch of rollsigns of routes that only exists in the BVE world. It took A while but that makes my first real BVE project. Now I can drive oh, say, the T route and not have to worry about a messed up rollsign, so Thanks!

Hi, I was thinking about doing the same thing with the R175, which has the same rollsign feature. I think I'm starting to understand what you wrote up there but I'm not sure what program can read and edit .b3d files. Also, do I have to make a duplicate .png like all the rest in the folder.  :-\

Great job! Much better than the current R68!  I noticed that when there is information up in the top right I can't see the speedometer which is really important to me (especially when I'm stopping!), maybe you could move it down a little! Just a suggestion! :)

Station Talk / dead link on "airport route"
« on: March 25, 2011, 07:19:44 pm »
Hi,

Recently I found a dead link trying to download the "airport route" in the download section, the link redirects me to a 4shared.com page stating "The file link that you requested is not valid." It's too bad because the route (from the description) sounds great with lots of details. Maybe the author of the route should check an this and fix it if possible.  :-\

BVE/OpenBVE Support / ATS on BVE NYC Subway? HELP?
« on: March 19, 2011, 10:39:34 am »
Hi,

Today I was trying out the Q route with an R160-A and I noticed that at every station I got a message in yellow saying something like "please turn ATS on" so I try pressing 2... and then 3... so finally I just leave it and I keep getting the same message at every station. I'm new to BVE, am I doing something wrong? I'm using Open BVE if that helps.
