Some of these service restorations are long overdue. I am glad to see the MTA finally has the ability to fix up some really bad service in some areas.

Actually, it should be around $2.50 or $2.75. Yes, the MTA is finally taking one more step.  :D

Brown (M) is one of my favorites, but I DO NOT WANT to see the (W) come back. The (W) was my favorite when it ran Express everywhere, and then the (N) and (D) pretty much stole its entire route. I do not think we need the (W) back. The (N) can handle Astoria by itself.

The (N) only can run Astoria, Queens by itself Late Nights and barely can handle weekends alone
The (W) will likely need to come back when the (T) comes into existence Astoria is known to likely get pissed off if the (W) don't come back by that time what is likely not to come back is the (V) and if that is the case the Nassau Street  Brown (M) won't come back  so the (M) will likely stay in Queens hence they dislike the (G) on the Blvd
V won't come back (M) won't go back to Brooklyn (W) will be back around 2016 Likely.
Astoria Queens has night life and its a very packed neighborhood the stations in Astoria (On the (N) is packed nearly 24/7 If the (Q) leaves Astoria (W) must come back.

well the interesting part is that my mom is going to start working on Pennsylvania avenue in brookland and was told that there is a new line being made that wood start going there and I think that the line that will be restored would most likely be the 9 and would most likely go to new lots rather than south ferry what do you guys think I won't however completely shut down the W coming back possibility

Do you know if it is a train or bus line? and the (W) I'm all four it coming back yea sadly it delays the (N) but Astoria won't accept over crowded stations I'm sure about that.

from what the story said it looks like it would be both busses and trains being restored
the only question that pops up from this is what train line and  bus line would be restored

The only way I can see the (9) Coming back is if the (1) and (9) ran from Van Cortlandt park to New Lots and the 9 being a rush hour skip stop only as the (3) Is a Manhattan only local only train..

If (and hopefully only so the (N) can run express in manhattan) the (W) comes back, I'm sure its only going to take the place of the (Q) in astoria so it would be the same give or take.

If and when the (W) comes back they need to fix the error they did last time
Manhattan bound (N) trains always got delayed because the (W) ended up in front

Might as well have it come back, 7 Av could sure use the help. But if it doesn't, I would still like to see some (1) service to New Lots Av.
