As i'm making the interior for Mr. Railfan's R30, here's a few teasers for the MTA silver/blue:

Is there going to be a redbird

It is likely that there will, along with an olive version and a yellow and black version (Work car)

The R30 and R16 side by side.

Thanks to NYZ3R0DAY, the interior of the train is making great progress. If all goes well we should have a release soon.

Looks great! But I think the ceiling still needs a bit more detail, I am wondering if it will have the fans and the grab holders. Also, a question about the panel, I am guessing it will have the same controller as the R33WF? Since they are just so similar

Yep. i hope i can make 3D grab holders, and to find a good ceiling texture. also there's a chance i may put in 3D stanchion poles

Yes the ceiling and the grab holder will be added in. i need to visit the museum in the near future so i can get more textures . And the funny thing is that the R33wf uses the controller from the R30. The one on the 33 was just slightly shrunken down.

Is there a possibility of the train having a curved roof (can't really tell from the pictures if it's curved or not) and a more detailed under body? If not for the upcoming version, maybe the next?

Great progress by the way, and I can tell that this will be a fun train to drive.

Mr. R&R, i'm just wondering, how did you get the pics for the R33WF's cab? Do you ask the employees at the transit museum for access to the cab to get pictures or use some other technique? Or am I completely off.

This train has the third rail gap feature implemented. Whenever it crosses a gap, the interior lights will blink, like the real-life one (as long as the route has that coded in).

This  train may or may not have headlights, which the visibility of the beams will vary depending on the brightness settings on the route.

I still need to give the interior some final touches (aka more photorealistic interior textures), and add the poles and such, and the MTA Silver/Blue version should be done in a few weeks (and the Olive scheme if we find a good side view pic)

After that, i will work on the interior for the redbird version, as well as the work car version.

Anything else, Mr. Railfan and Ddatrainman will announce. I am just in charge for the interiors.

Just a few peeks at the interior, around 50% complete (the ends of the seats will have a replacement texture for the proper color):

Damn, nice to have you on the project.

This might be able to help

Anyways back to being serious, Im having a real fix in trying to find a side texture for the olive version for months. What I could do is edit the original redbird side i did in photoshop and make it olive green?

would you guys want me to try that?

Edit Attempting, this isnt finalhas to be redone....

this would've been good

I played around with MS Paint for a while with the R33 pic and made an awesome side exterior. Maybe I can do the same with that pic
