After my computer got reefed, it as taken me some time to get BVE to work on this new one. That has now been accomplished. What I need from EVERYBODY who is working on NON-FICTIONAL NYC BVE Routes is to let me know the status of these routes and send me the latest updates you have. Thanks.

Station Talk / Re: WEATHER ADVISORY - Hurricane Irene
« on: August 28, 2011, 09:46:54 pm »
the reason for the precaution is a response to Hurricane katrina. No city wants to take the backlash tat happened back then.

I personally dont agree with mandatory evacuations, because its an abuse of power. What should b done is stongly suggest that people leave and explain that we will not be sending emergency personnel in to save you in case you stay.

It doesn't actually curve out.
It is steeper than the other 2 tracks, therefore it reaches the height of the main elevated line in a shorter distance.

This is present on the actual (A) line. Here is an image looking Southbound, look at the rightmost track to see
what i'm talking about:

thats looking northbound

Heres the thing that pisses developers off. I was asked permission to make this line by using the B & C I created. I gave permission for it to be made, but with the stipulation that I get to see it before it got released. I never received a copy. Now before all you guys start crying about it, let me explain why this pisses me off.

1. I like to check the quality of the route.

2. Most importantly I need to see the README for the route. If someone decides to put something inappropriate in the route, and doesnt change the README and gets released MY NAME is on it. Ive said it before, I don`t deserve to have some LE knocking on my door for BS.

Why can`t most of you guys understand this?

That was the J train you sent out years ago, There was nothing said about the 2

Joe
Nope thats not true. And this whole thread is about the 2.Every knows back then about 2TM illgeal route distribution which was the (2).You're making this seem like this is a brand new case about someone or me distributing things.

Look, any route, or any development for that matter, not published under the creative commons license, that has been modified without permission from the original author, will ALWAYS be considered a problem. End of discussion.

But this thread here, about the 2 train extension, is long old, and it has been resolved. For future reference, and this goes out to everyone, when watching a YouTube video, please keep in mind of the date that it was posted, alright? Don't just view a video that you think is new and just post it on the forum; more or likely, the issue has been resolved already.

You sent out the route? Who gave it to you.?Corcom is correct, that video was put on YouTube by Robert Marerro who I sent it to as a matter of respect to a fellow BVE developer. He did No development of the 2 line. When I saw this video, I asked him to take it down which he refused.

Joe
Yep,not sure less than 3 people. And he is not correct b\c 1.I did not post the video of the full 2 line you even said it yourself it was put on youtube by Robert Marerro.

If I recall a while back, There was a member who posted the video of the complete rroute without any authorization. He was also banned from the site back then. I don't know about now. I will not mention his name. 2TM. 8)
Umm...no I sent out the route to a few people obviously but I don't think there was a video back then of the entire thing. And it was NOT my video Joe knows already whos vid that is.And you're an idiot for assuming.

NOBODY is authorised to work on my 2 line. You can make your own but you better have 100% of your own objects.

How did you even get that route to load up? Also, does anyone remember the really old L train route that was completely un-detailed? When you were on the outdoors portion, all you could see is the platforms & tracks and everything else was a black background.
@SIR I got this old N route from this website: http://www.c3.hu/~kid/bve/nyc.html

I got the route to load up by going into the object folder and pulling out the N.rw file and placing it into the route folder, and placing the rest of the objects into the object folder. (Don't forget to unzip first!)
Who`s website is that?
