Title: (WIP) The 6 Train for BVE/OpenBVE
Post by: coneyislandDFNQ on October 11, 2011, 12:10:01 pm
There is a uptown (6)<6> skeleton in development by Lexington456, nyctrman, and myself. The downtown (6) is a temporary skeleton until the finished (6) by Lexington456 is completed. There is a possibility of having a downtown (6) via the (4) to Crown Heights. Here is some progress. I will post pictures later.

Uptown Service

(6) - Construction completed up to 3rd Av-138 St
<6> - Construction completed up to Hunts Point Av

Downtown Service

(6) - Construction completed to 125 St. It will go express before 14 Street to head to Crown Heights.

<6> - Not in development at this time.

How accurate will this be? I downloaded that (Q) skeleton and it was nearly 100% off as far as distances curves.

True, I remember a lot of imperfections in terms of the exact routing.

I'm only going by track maps and estimation of distances. That's why I ask for help. If no one can help me code it correctly or adjust it then what I Sonia final until someone makes one better than the route that was created. Do keep in mind that none of these routes have been junpstarted at all. Let's not start another year with the same routes in downloads and no advancements. The British are moving up while we lagging behind. Time to change that. We step up our A-game. We can do quality work like them also and better.

For those who wants to beta test the north and south bound versions of the (6) must attend the Halloween event.

The <6> to Pelham Bay Park is currently constructed to Hunts Point Avenue.

The (6) via the (4) to Crown Heights is at Borough Hall with fully automated announcements.

No. If you watched Bve's video of the route skeleton, the skeleton was a lot less detailed.

The (6) shown in the video is stated corrected by BVE. The snap shots were made using track work from the (4). The route will be semi detailed.

By the way BVE I'll send you my progress cause I'm at crown heights I'm just fixing switches and putting some detail from the (4)

By the way thank JayJay85 for the help in sending some track info from the (4)

I can concur on that, though Imanuel, your (Q) skeleton needs work, a lot of things aren't even current or exists with the Brighton today.

As I state once again. It was made based in track maps from nycsubway.org. Distances weren't provided and I could make to the best of what I had in front of me. If a future developer takes on the (Q) by alleans they can fix it. As of right now it's better we have some new routes than the same ones we had since President Bush. Lol

In 5 train master's case he had walls blocking the track of every stop and switches taking you into a wall lol.

Back on topic. The Crown Heights bound (6) will use track work from BStlyes (4) line with the helps of JayJay85
