Solar power scrubs NYC subways clean

Recently the MTA started using water heated by solar power to clean the subway cars.

I never knew grease could get picked up in the tunnel and get absorbed by the train. Very interesting. Saves money and energy :D

Grease, oil, garbage, etc sticks to tunnel walls over time and can cause breathing conditions. The tunnel walls are gray, not black(that's over 100 years of dust right there). This is a very interesting program nonetheless.
