R68 OpenBVE Cab-view Problems
« on: September 09, 2013, 04:39:36 pm »
Hi all,

I recently downloaded the R68 train for OpenBVE (the one that consists of 2 cars, 6 cars, and 8 cars) by Mr Railfan.

I opened a set of cars up for this to test out on a route, and I get a very blank screen.  The exterior is fine, but when I go to the cab, all I see is the control/ accelerator and the brake handle.  I've attached a pic of it to show.

Does anyone know how to fix this?  I tried changing my laptop's screen resolution and everything, but nothing seems to work.
Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks!!

Forum attachments don't seem to work well on this forum; I can't see the attachment.
It may be a better idea to upload the screenshot to a hosting site such as www.imgur.com and using BBCode to post the image here.

With regards to your issue, try redownloading and reinstalling the train. Something may have gone wrong during those steps.
Usually with these kinds of issues happen when downloads are corrupted or the installation was messed up somehow.

Im sure its something like this

If it is it's because your computer's
max screen resolution is too small for the panels image size. The image is gonna have to be reduced.

For images greater than 2048 pixels, some old PCs or lesser graphics display white for large images.
Infranview will reduce large images to 2048 pixels with good results.
