It's opens next week on the 13 but I hear rumors that its been changed to the 14 by the mayor
That will not be happening. The opening is on track for the 13th, and will not change.

I run openBVE on my mid-2014 15 inch retina MacBook Pro. Works great! Just be prepared for the slight possibility that you'll need to do a little tweaking. Be sure you have Mono installed.

Any News on The (Q)???
The Q line is being worked on. If you want to try it in its testing stages, visit the transit museum on saturdays in August from 2pm-4pm. We will be exhibiting it then. There is no extra charge above the general admission price.

STUMP THE BUFFS! THREE TRANSIT EXPERTS TALK BMT
& SUBWAY UNIFICATION
Tuesday, June 16, 6:30pm -Tickets
$10/Free for Members

This June marks two important anniversaries for New York’s transit system: the 75th anniversary of subway unification, and the 100th anniversary of the Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit Corporation (BMT).  In celebration of these milestones, the Transit Museum brings together three of the country’s top subway history and equipment experts to talk shop and answer your toughest questions. With over 100 years of combined research and expertise, our featured “buffs” include Joe Cunningham (New York Power), James Greller (Subway Cars of the BMT), and Joseph Raskin (The Routes Not Taken).

Post your questions to our Facebook Page
Then, get an up close look at artifacts from the original BMT stations. Our Curatorial and Collections team brings out objects from the Museum’s permanent collection. Can’t get enough of the BMT? Explore vintage D-Type Triplex subway cars dating back to 1927, originally purchased for service on the Fourth Avenue Local.

Exactly why the MTA is always over budget; because the pay for crap like this when they could have just contacted one of the route developers here and given them the necessary materials to throw together an openBVE route for free...
Publicize this then.

I just downloaded the updated D Line and I have a question.  No matter what train I choose to drive, there are no interior lights in the cab while in the tunnel.  You cannot see how fast you are traveling!  Is there a option in the route file that would make this happen?  I appreciate any help.  Thanks
MTA rules dictate that the cab light must be off when operating the train. The cab is supposed to darken when you are in the tunnel.

BVE/OpenBVE Support / Re: Rollsign Stops Working
« on: April 29, 2015, 07:22:26 pm »
I use a Mac, and I'm aware of the issue with the rollsign plugin. I was hoping someone might have info on if somebody is working on getting Mac support for the plugin, and if someone is, what the progress is. Thanks!
So far nobody is. I'm hoping that somebody with expertise can port the OS_ATS plugin to the .NET architecture.

27
I know that the rollsign plugin doesn't work on Mac or Linux, but I've heard rumors about .NET becoming open-sourced. I love the R40S, R40M, and R42, but I wish I didn't have to manually edit the rollsigns. :/ I was wondering A: If there's a temporary solution to get the rollsigns to work on Mac without manually editing them, and B: If the .NET becoming open-sourced is true, and if it has become open-sourced, will that make it easier to develop and fix the plugin for Mac? Thanks!
As far as I know, there is no temporary solution, short of somebody developing a suitable .NET plugin.
 I use a Mac.

Futhermore, on mac and Linux, Mono is used as a standin for .NET and fulfills the same functionality. The open-sourcing of .NET will have no effect on the development of a .NET plugin.

Awesome, cool pictures!

I noticed that there whole are two stations at BB as shown in the attached image. Is that going to be fixed by the official?

The way openBVE works requires two stations in order to simulate the loop.

Also, I can't see the image. Upload it to imgur and post it with BBCode
