Question about TJay's NYCT Signal pack
« on: October 27, 2012, 08:16:57 pm »
Hey, I just got the new signals and I put them. Re did the entire A line. It works real nice but for some reason it won't work on some the other Lines. It seems to me that it only works on .csv lines but wont work on .rw(ex. B,C,D,Q,K, ect) lines. I did all the steps for it to work. Is there something different u have to do or it just won't work period.

I'm pretty sure the signals aren't compatible with .rw at all. If you have BRR (I believe the download has been taken offline for quite some time, but I
don't know whether anyone has put it up somewhere else) you can open the route in BRR, select a train then click on Process Only. This will create a
brrtemp.csv file which converts the route to CSV automatically, and there you can add the signals in.

Technically you can only do one route at a time. After you process it, it will be stored as a .csv file called "brrtemp.csv" in your route folder. Re-name it, and use it to change the signals.

Ok but that still leave my question why the BRR can't locate the .rw files.

Are you looking in the right place? Also, are .rw files not being filtered out?
