R38 Braking
« on: January 07, 2012, 12:03:57 pm »
Should there be a delay in the R38 braking pressure? the R68 doesn't delay at all but the R38 is extremely hard to stop if i wanna run on schedule especially at speeds under 15mph. i expect my 139 freight car consist to delay on MSTS but not BVE. any way of tightening up the brakes to compensate?

You need to go into the "train.dat" file and change the value for the "brake up" delay.

Here are instructions:
http://trainsimframework.org/develop/train_train_dat.html#

Go to the "delay section."
