Hi, I am getting a black texture when I load the 6 line. I downloaded the dependencies in out it in Desktop>NYCTA 6 OpenBVE> Object, and I am still getting a black texture. Am I doing anything wrong? Please help.
Have you made sure that the files are placed like this?

-- Railway
    -- Object
        > SampleObject
    -- Route
        > SampleRoute.csv
    -- Sound
        > SampleSound

And next time, try to post this in a new topic.

Here are the official instructions from the OpenBVE download site:

Note: Because the website has been down for some time, I had to find this in the Wayback Machine.

It usually says in the readme or info when you select it in the Start New Game menu, but if you haven't gotten any information out of that, then just try the number keys above the QWERTY keyboard and watch for something moving.

Did you get any error messages upon startup of the above listed programs?

I was in the first car, and it was CRAZY crowded all the way from Flushing to 34th. It was bad the whole way there, but at TSQ, it got CRAZY crowded.
I arrived at around 2:30, and it wasn't that bad.

Just curious, what were the revisions? (I know the 7 extension, duh!)
The ones I remember are replacement of the loop around 138th-Grand Concourse on the 4 and 5 with a note about how some 4 trains will skip 138th in the peak direction, and a note that said the J/Z would run express from Myrtle Ave to Marcy Ave in the peak direction. The loop here was not removed, though. I think there were a few other changes, but I don't remember the rest of them.

Yesterday I was riding the 2 Train and I saw the map had been updated with the 7 Train Extension, as well as a few minor revisions.

Can I run 1.4.3.1 with 1.4.3, but put 1.4.3.1 in a separate directory?

I was watching that. I made the exterior in sketchup, and it is a .skp file, what file do I need it to be for the actual exterior file?
It needs to be either a .animated, .csv, .b3d, or .x file. I wouldn't recommend using .x, as I have seen it only a few times, but the others are frequently used.

don't I need to make the panel config before exteriors?
Once the train.dat file is present, it doesn't really matter in which order the .cfg files are made.

But I am always doing stuff with family, and I have no time. I am afraid I can not do this, so I guess I made that exterior for nothing.
Coding the extensions, sound, and panel config files isn't that difficult. If you take a look at some ready made files, and try to understand what's going on, it's not that hard, actually. I have made several of my own extensions.cfg files for various trains that I put together, by just studying one extensions.cfg file.

It is possible to run OpenBVE on a Mac to some extent. However there are a number of limitations when running on a Mac.

Does it have tunnels?
Yes, actually.

If NYCTCommon is in your main object folder, you should have no problem. If the problem persists even though it is present in your main object folder, I don't really know how to help you.
In my practice the only scenario to work was the JAY-ATL connection. And that one doesn't have signal objects. That might have something to do with it.
