Speaking on the topic of frame rates, i'm pretty sure the Q line will not be able to run on lower end computers. The amount of details through out the route will really bring FPS down on low end computers. DJ Hammers and I are trying our best to maximize performance, but once again, there's no guarantee it'll run on low end PCs.

What do you mean by "lower end?"  Like what specs would you expect the route to run smoothly on?

Oh understood. My mistake. I think I'm going to use the incandescent lights for the boroughs that are not using florescent lights then.

I'm assuming these are incandescent lights?

Yep but like I said they're all for the most part CFLs or LEDs now.  The lights on the current D line (Not sure what object folder that is offhand) resemble today's tunnel lights pretty well.

Looks great!  Just a suggestion- NYCTA is changing the lights in the tunnels to CFL's to save energy, maybe make the tunnel lights whiter to resemble them?

Transit / National Train Day
« on: May 12, 2012, 10:26:28 pm »
Hey!

Today I was going down into the city on the Hudson Line for an event.  At 125th Street I noticed a bunch of photographers at the end of the platform.  Then, as we were pulling out, I saw an Acela trainset being pulled by a Metro North P32.  I literally went right to the bathroom and splashed cold water on my face to make sure I was awake.  As I later found out, it was National Train Day.  But that had me wondering, why put an Acela on Park Ave on MNCR trackage, rather then in Penn where they could use the catenary and be in Amtrak territory? Why even use an Acela in the first place HDCP?  Anyone have any insight to this?

Pelham 123 is a ok movie, don't watch the '98 remake that one wasnt even shot in NYC lol.. The whole thing was based on a book if you're interested, I have yet to read that though.

imo Speed is still the better foamer movie citizenship: http://polish-citizenship.eu :P

The book is one of my favorites!  It is much better than the movie (as always).  I recommend it!

This looks amazing!  My only suggestion is to work on the angle of the master controller a bit- it doesn't match with the rest of the cab.antena

Does this mean you are officially off hiatus Travian?

Will 3rd rail gaps be put in on this route: http://ameryka.strefa.pl ?

Making an SMS version wouldn't be too hard, it's just simply changing the colors of the seats. I can do that after the initial release if you guys want.

Also the black NTT-style floors.

This looks very nice but I have 2 suggestions:

1.  Why not put some ads in the interior?  IIRC R46's have the ads in front of the overhead lights but I don't see them in your interior
2.  As R46's go under SMS, they are getting black floors and NTT-style blue seats.  Will there be an post-SMS version as well?

To get the idea of post-SMS trains (not my video) Inside R46 (A) Train With Blue Seats:From 190 Street to Dyckman Street-200 Street!
