Title: Throttle Console Add-On for OpenBVE?
Post by: Ztraintobroad on December 09, 2014, 11:23:06 am
Hi, Is there like any Throttle Console add-on for Openbve so that I can just drive it with the throttle instead of the keyboard? And to not confuse anyone, I mean a real throttle, not the throttle inside the game.

I did read of the RailDriver4OpenBVE at this website download page.
https://sites.google.com/site/raildriver4openbve/ (https://sites.google.com/site/raildriver4openbve/)
I do not have the RailDriver throttle so I can not speak about if this works well or poor.

Good day and night for you

Do you have a flight sim joystick? I use the throttle part of the joystick here: http://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-T-Flight-Hotas-Flight-Playstation-3/dp/B001CXYMFS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418165169&sr=8-1&keywords=thrustmaster+hotas (http://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-T-Flight-Hotas-Flight-Playstation-3/dp/B001CXYMFS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418165169&sr=8-1&keywords=thrustmaster+hotas) as a controller for the NTT trains that only have one handle (Like the r142/a and r160). I just use the keyboard for the SMEE separated throttle/ brake trains

You can still use a single controller for the SMEEs. The setup in OpenBVE is a little tricky, though. I found this (http://bveworldwide.unlimitedboard.com/t635-openbve-joystick-question); I hope it helps.
