Do you use SketchUp, photoshop, or some other cad application to create your images,csv,b3d files. Also looking at your profile how is it that you have an interest in NYC subways given that time period you are modeling? I thought you were my contemporary (look at my profile).
I am a NYC Subway fan since I was a kid, after I discovered OpenBVE then downloaded old SMEEs trains, and started to learn the 1970s NYC subway system, I decided to develop 1970s routes by myself since I knew nobody will make some even though there is the 1969 Franklin Shuttle. I don't use sketchup at all, I only use Paint.net for textures, I learned modeling fast by fixing objects and understanding B3D and CSV coding. Yes, I learned a lot in less than a year and already know route building basics, some people learn slowly, some learn fast.
If you look at the first screenshots, you notice that I only did retexturing work, but then realized that I need to learn modeling.
And if you are wondering why I am a Conductor and you a New Recruit giving that I registered on BVE Station 2 years after you, is because here the ranking works on the amount of posts you make (from what I see, I'm not sure), but certainly not by time.

Hi ... what I mean as contemporary is the time we have spent on this earth and where we call home.  I find it very interesting.  Have you ever been to New York?

Decided to try the AA, pretty successful on 168th St, no big deal actually, just need to copy all stations from the A and put them on a local C route and change rail indexes and X positioning of some objects.

But I first need to finish detailing from 81 St to Canal St on the A, so I can finish the AA right away and do the extension to Hudson Terminal - WTC, and that will be the first scenario to be completed of all other scenarios of the 1970s 8th Avenue routes.

Due to a lot of inactivity on this damn dead website where admins and some developers weren't active since ages, I will probably not post any updates until the full release of the routes, sorry but cannot be asked anymore to make posts if only very few people are often active. I wish it was still like the early 2010s, too bad I didn't join in those times.
Maybe I'll post sometimes but it will be extremely rare, well just like any other forum on this website...
What's the point of keeping this website alive anyways if most of the content are released only on facebook groups or on Youtube, close this website already it's useless, I might sound mad but I don't care because it's the truth.

EDIT: Since people are starting to rate me down, i'll clear this more: for me It's not for the content, because I'm part of a Facebook group as well, it's just sad for others and new members of the bve community to not enjoy most of released stuff on Facebook because they expect BVE Station is where most of content is being released which is wrong, don't get me wrong, some people still release stuff on their forums like me (the beta 1973 A Line, and I really respect them for that (the R68/142/A and the 5 line for example), but to me it's mainly the inactivity of this website that bothers me, looking at some old forums, it's back in 2014-2015 that BVE station seemed to be fun... but anyways, I'll still post some of my updates even if I don't really see the point here... Anyways sorry for that particular post but I had to point this out.

Some more updates on the 1973 A:

-New vintage benches
-New curve between 175 St and 168 St.
-50th St is done.
-Wider platform and new pillars at W4 St.
Currently working on Canal St, Spring St and 23 St.

Not really much as you would expect from a long silence especially HERE, but I worked a lot on the R42 (I'll post update soon) and other random shit.

New curve between 175 and 168 Sts

50 St

52 St exit on SB platform

52 St exit on NB platform

51 St exit on SB platform

51 St exit on NB platform

50 St and 49 St exit passageway on NB platform (identical configuration on SB platform except without passageway to IRT)

Closer look of IRT passageway

Closer look of staircases to lower level

"Do not lean over edge of platform" sign

W 4 St

Nice work, looking forward to the finished project. Any chance you can also implement that updated curve on the current updated A line? Always felt that section leading to the first curve was abit inaccurate.

Thank you. And yes I will. But I still have to fix and add a lot of curves to the route. Today I'll redo the curve before Canal St and make it sharper

A little Christmas present: 1970s EE to Continental Av BETA. This route version will never be worked on again since I will make a x100 better one in the future as part of the 1970s NYCTA Routes Volume 3 pack (will talk about the different volumes soon).

Dependencies needed: IND 8th Avenue
