Not bad, resize the texture to 256x256 and you should be fine.

Good luck! If anyone's interested in making an exterior view or object for the R11 I was able to snap a couple photos of it from last year's Busfest while it was sitting in the Transit museum, let me know if you would like those photos.

I really don't know what the problem is to be honest, I am currently experimenting with different setups of the brake systems to see if I can fix this. This happens to most of the trains I've made (R160 R142A etc)

That is a problem with some of my trains..try re-starting the simulation when that happens.

I am currently working on an update for my 46 as well, I'll try to get that out asap

Nice job Jayjay!! Love that RTS model you got there!

Basically it works like this;

the b3d files are the static objects
the animated files make them move.

Think of it this way: the b3d file is the door, the animated file is the motors that make the doors move.

glad to hear you're working on it!

Remember it's 255 colors for the RGB values, not 256 lol

That requires you to program in animations for openbve.

Learn more here:

I cannot figure that math out lol its sad that it comes to the point where I have to pull out a calculator to program for bve -_-

Station Talk / Re: Metro North New Haven Line?
« on: January 25, 2011, 08:02:17 pm »
Do realize the New Haven line is a 2 hour run from Grand Central to New Haven. With that said, don't mean to sound discouraging but I doubt anyone will be making anything of that nature. However, anyone is welcome to if they wish to take on the challenge.

I would suggest you do it now before the M-8s come into service as they do not have railfan windows like the trains now do. There is also RFW footage of the New Haven around somewhere on youtube.
