Yes, you can contribute through the content contributor, or asking the developers if they need anything. Check here: http://www.bvestation.com/contributor/index.php

One issue I've found is that "7z" extracts with paranoid permissions.  To fix that case:
Code: [Select]
cd /usr/share/games/bve
sudo find . -type d -exec chmod go+rx '{}' ';'
sudo find . -type f -exec chmod go+r '{}' ';'
Thank you! I've been having that issue with routes!

Make sure your drivers are up to date. It sounds to me like an issue with your graphic card's drivers.

Windshield, you're welcome. I really think the reason why most of us don't have this problem is because when BVE2 was the program everyone used, the installer automatically created the folder structure. With OpenBVE, however, you have to do that yourself, and it can get confusing, especially for new users. I will point out the situation with the verification letters. If anyone has anymore questions, please don't hesitate to post.

hi was sup guys im trying to play the multiplayer but everytime i connect it says error connecting to server server may be offline or experience issues someone please help thank you
Yeah, um, the multiplayer was discontinued a while back. I don't think there was a formal announcement, though, but it's not being supported anymore. Not only that, the OpenBVE version that it uses is really outdated.

Alright I'm gonna give you a brief tutorial here. The OpenBVE_stable, leave that alone.
If you haven't done so already, create a "BVE" folder in C:\Program Files(x86).
Inside that BVE folder, create two more folders, one "Railway" and the other one "Train". Place all of your trains in the "Train" folder.
In the "Railway" folder create three more folders: "Route" "Sound" and "Object". Every time you download a route, make sure every file goes to its proper folder.
Give that a try and see if it works.

Can you please be more detailed on your folder structure? That's most likely the cause of your problems.
