Great Route idea

Can Anyone Recreate The Original 1987 JFK Express line (Train To The Plain!)

I think it would be easy. Just take the route Portion for 21st Queens Bridge to w4st of the F line, Then all you have to do is use the rest of the A line from W4st To Jay Street. Then from Jay Street To Aqueduct RaceTrack It never Stops. If anyone can make this, please do, its a simple and great idea, all you need to do is make the track switching at West 4th Street and make it run express form Jaystreet to Aqueduct Race Track. Of Course since the only Portion of the A on the website is to Ozone park, somebody will need to create a version to, (or add on to the original verison) to JFK airport station.

I think it would be a great remembrance of this old and historic line, as it was only open for less than a year

And of course people can change the rolling signs on the R46 For them selves.

If anyone is interested in doing this just check this link for information, and the google map i made http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JFK_Express

When it comes to requests like these, most people would say just make it yourself.

People will always mass respond saying they have lives outside the BVE world which is true but give you a 10 page response on it.

I will lock it now unless some other mod or admin actually finds this valid.

I'll let this run its course, but only because somebody has made this request a VERY long time ago, and was working on it, but then was banned/kicked out for reasons we will not say.

As far as it being easy, its not.  If you think its easy, then you'll have to listen to what peacemak3r says.  Its actually quite hard to take 2 routes and combine the two, not to mention the Rockaways portion has been in development hell for the longest.  Whether you'll actually see the route who knows, maybe a developer will one day decide to do it.

Creating a route from scratch requires ALOT of patience, and you must be willing to keep on trying even if you don't get it the first time.  Take a look at some of the tutorials there.  Type everything out while following the tutorials, do not copy and paste from them, and make sure you have all the proper tools, like RouteViewer for OpenBVE, or Track Editor for BVE 2/4.  You will spend most of your time testing and refreshing RouteViewer to make sure everything works.

Have a look at some tutorials here, as always I recommend Dennis Lance's tutorials.
