NYCTA Projects / Re: Official Update Thread For The Southbound D Line

You think that it is bad here?  ;D

This is one of the best communities that I have ever seen.

Oh my God I almost died laughing. Join the NYCTF. Threxx has been so bad that he got warned, then banned, then he made an account to appeal his ban, which was against Forum rules. But the Administration is so good over there that they let him back in.

BVEStation in my mind has one of the best reps around when it comes to a community. NYCTF is not the worst but trust me, it is pretty low down there in the list, due to a heavy lack of moderation, and Administrators who do not enforce their rules enough.

I was talking about the arguments and shoot-downs, not the user behavior and rule-breaking. If you look around this forum, there are TONS of arguments that popped up here and there throughout it's history, and I have witnessed several times where the arguments got so out of hand that they caused the topic to be locked and/or the project to be cancelled, and this topic (With all that crap that happened between me and Peacemak3r on the last 2 or 3 pages) is no exception. I am pretty sure that there has to be at least 10 times that this kind of stuff has happened in BVEStation v5 alone. That's why I said that.

Anyway, like Mr. Even said, back on topic

Yes, we should forget about that stuff and just make it a part of the past. I have been noticing that this forum is giving itself a HORRIBLE reputation when it comes to public relations (And I also recently saw someone complaining about this forum on a few OpenBVE YouTube videos, but let that be a different story), so I think we should try to change that.

Anyway....Very nice start on Stillwell there. Glad to see some nice progress happening with the non-fictional routes, something that we all have been dreaming of ever since 2011 ;)

Create a folder anywhere on the computer, and call it "OpenBVE". Then extract the files from the ZIP file to that folder. And make sure you have downloaded all the dependencies too, or else it will not work. Then, clicking on "OpenBVE.exe" will open up OpenBVE. Download some trains and routes from this site to start playing it. (Put trains in the "Trains" folder, and route objects/route files/route sounds in the "Railway" folder, in the corresponding subfolders)

Great news. But you should just take over Pacific's R68 project and work on from there, it will be easier.

Looks great. And the GE R32's also had backlit interior ads, remember to add those  ;)
