If you are going to build a fictional route like early Harbourvale lines, the main problem is the naming the stations. So how to name the stations?

They can also represent landmarks, or well known locations.  Naming a station isn't all that hard, you could even dedicate it to people or companies that adopt it.

like 47-50th St. Rockefeller Center. Or, Chambers St. WTC, or even 42nd St - Times Sq.

I prefer those station names like Shibuya, Gaienmae, Akasaka-mitsuke, Higashi-Ginza etc.
